It’s outtt! ⚡️ ♡ Somehow both the hardest and easiest thing I’ve ever done ♡ Hard because putting your heart on the line is like that sometimes ♡ Easy because I had the unforeseen luck to work with people who believed in the project, believed in me, and blessed the songs with so much talent and love. I think each one of us has our demons, this song is about mine ✿ They drove me around for years I will never get back. Now it’s all in the rearview ✿ I make wishes all the time that it stays that way ✿ These days, they live on my keyring, smaller than I thought, with big eyes that look up at me as though to say —> All I ever wanted was love ✿ I just didn’t know where to look for it ✿ Long ago, I used to think those years were stolen. Bits and pieces ✧ I loved this year with alll my heart. Lessons disguised as relief/love deeper than I thought possible/the surrender to grey instead of black and white/devotion to fluidity in all its forms ✧ Wishing everyone in my orbit and beyond a beautiful year’s end and beginning to the next one. Keys fell into my mouth in the springtime of 2020 when I was so scared of a dream dying, a dream that means everything and nothing at the same time, to have a place for my heart to bloom in ways that I could hear in my head but not yet in the physical world. Thru magic and sweat it finally came to life, a song devoted to the part of me hopelessly in love with forces unseen and unconditional that pull me forward in art and expression ✧ After a little while I realized that some dreams don’t have the capacity to die, especially when separated from the external expectations of a very wild world with a very different pace from my own creativity ✧ Here I am, five years later, and tho Keys is brand new in the digital multiverse, the wish it contains is now a trusted part of me, under my skin and in my blood, giving me wings, but those are brand new too ✧ My next one is coming out in about ten days! A love song for the apocalypse called Dream of Time ✧ Thx to everyone who has listened so far and to my forever friend @jacksondavis13 for creating this photo. It’s been a long time coming. But my first song everrr is out in the world NOW ⚡️ ♡ With a few more on the way! I have lots more to say about the journey it’s taken to get to this point in space and time ♡ But for now, all I wanna do is celebrate.
