POSTS STORIES REELS

These past 4 months have no doubt been the best in my life.

Being able to help start RWC in Valdosta has both stretched and blessed me in the most incredible ways imaginable.

It all started with a simple “yes”. But to be honest I had never been so scared to say yes in my life. What if nobody shows up? What if nobody wants to help me lead? What if people think it’s dumb? What if? What if?

What if God is just sitting there saying “What if YOU just trust me?” What if YOU walked in REAL faith?

Looking back now, I can’t imagine my life without RWC. I can’t imagine not doing it, I can’t imagine what would have happened if I simply stayed comfortable. I can’t imagine my life without my new brothers and sisters in my life. I can’t imagine my life without our amazing lead and serve team.

The crazy part is I never even knew for sure if it was the “right” decision to make. I think we so often wait for God to do miracles and bring revival but we are too scared to step out of the boat.

Stepping out the boat is where growth happens. It’s where the real fruit happens. The most amazing part is that we don’t have to do it alone.

The love and respect that I have for @bricemitchell_ and @willgaringer_ is incomprehensible. The movement they have stewarded is done with such zeal and reverence. They believed in what God could do in small town Valdosta and it sparked something so special. I couldn’t ask for more amazing mentors and brothers.

Today marks a special transition in my life: Leaving my early 20s and moving forward on the path God has for me.

It’s even more special because almost exactly a year ago today, RWC Valdosta was born.

I genuinely thought I was just starting some run club and boy did God have other plans.

One year later:
lives marked by the gospel, the isolated found in community, and the broken coming to the table.

This ministry has not only changed Valdosta but the Lord has truly awakened my heart to the gospel.

So many moments spent on the floor crying out for Him to just come, not even having the words, but He showed up every single time.

Going from “I’ll figure it out” to “Lord I need you to come”

from “We need crowds of people” to “Lord, we need your presence”

Coming to the end of my selfish desires, emotions, and especially fear of man.

I no longer have to worry about what others think about me because HE showed me who HE made me to be!

One thing I can say for sure is this:
Jesus transformed my life this year. He stretched me, humbled me, poured me out, filled me with His love, and turned me into a man truly desperate for Him and Him alone.

But above all else: I have been found in Him.

I am His beloved Son.

Here’s to 24, Lord may this year be marked by your radical love. May I never grow dependent, may I never grow numb to your presence, may I never shift my gaze from you. by @____michaelwilliams

What a joy to have friends that make saying goodbye so hard. by @____michaelwilliams

I see God’s love all around!

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame!!
Psalm 34:5 by @____michaelwilliams

Beginning to love this season of life more and more.

All of the late nights, fellowship, cookout runs, random side quests, laughter, tears, and answered prayers have allowed me to see how truly blessed I am to be right where I’m at.

It’s so easy to look at other things, ministries, places, people, job opportunities, and want it over what God has blessed you with!

Oh if I just lived in a bigger city
Oh if I was just married
Oh if God just answered THAT prayer

It wasn’t until I slowed down and looked at all of the people around me that I realized how insanely blessed I am to have such an incredible team, friend group, family and even roommate.

I finally am learning that HE truly is my reward.

I realized that HIS love fulfills every need and every longing.

What a blessing it is to find contentment in the love of God! by @____michaelwilliams

Crossing the finish line at my first marathon was one of the most incredible and emotional feelings I’ve ever felt.

But those emotions came only after digging deeper than I ever have in my life.

The last 6 miles of this race were pure agony.

Undoubtedly the most drawn out intense physical pain ive ever experienced. The only words I could get out of my mouth were “It’s just pain”

Realizing the pain would only last a few more miles was the only thing that allowed me to keep going.

I pushed it to the absolute limit. All of the days, weeks, months, worth it.

Only until after did I realize that it was never about the finish line but the journey.

It was about the person I was molded into along the way.

It was about the mental resilience built on all those miles.

It was about realizing that the only thing that matters in this life is knowing God.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with ENDURANCE the race that is set before us.
Hebrews 12:1

Savannah didn’t disappoint. First official half marathon done.

Goal was to finish in 1:55, ended up with 1:48.

Good thing I don’t do things half way. Time to lock in for the full in February.

Sub 3:30:00 or die trying.

s/u to the girl who was absolutely cooked running beside me.

Swipe to see a good before and after

Who knew 1 week in Huntington Beach CA would connect me with the most wild community of people I could imagine

Somehow we ended up in Columbus Ohio for a weekend to come back where everything started and just sit at the table and receive from the Lord.

So freaking grateful for these people I get to call family.

God showed up.

No words can describe the transformation that took place over this last week and the amount of love that was poured out.

From invading In n Out at midnight to experiencing the burden of God over a generation.

Thank you Jesus for a life full of constant awe and wonder of how you bring together such amazing brothers and sisters.

These are experiences I will never forget until the day I die.
