Ayé Taga🎶__ ALPHA BLONDY🎙️
Album : RISE (2025)

43 ans de carrière. 20 albums.

‘Now Is The Time´__ JIMMY JAMES and The Vagabonds 🎶🎶
Album: « NOW » (1976)

Jimmy James born in Jamaica, forged on the British soul scene since the mid-60s,
delivers with the Vagabonds one of the most heartfelt albums of his career. « Now » carries the urgency of an era, driven by a voice that never seems to age.

The standout ‘Now Is the Time´reaches the UK Top 5, spending nine weeks in the charts. A Jamaican voice, a British stage, a universal message.
Some records don’t age. They deepen.

ABC___ The JACKSON 5 🎶

Before the sold-out stadiums, before the moonwalks and the Grammy Awards, there were five brothers, a stage, and a child’s voice that was about to change music forever.
ABC, out in 1970. Second album, second stroke of genius. The Jackson 5 stacked hit after hit with a musical maturity that had no business belonging to kids that young. Michael (The King) is 11 years old and sings like he’s been doing it for decades. The world was about to find out.
The Jackson 5 didn’t follow the soul movement of the 70s. They started it. ABC is the proof.

The 1961 album Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington : « The Great Summit »

Legend Jazz Music _

In this Album :
« Duke’s Place » « Mood Indigo »« Solitude » are my favorites tracks.

These recordings blend Armstrong’s emotional phrasing and Ellington’s elegant harmonic world - an iconic meeting of jazz giants.

🎶 ‘Take Me In Your Arms And Love Me’ ~~
Gladys Knight & The PIPS.

Gladys Knight and the Pips is very much a family affair, the three guys being her brother Merald « Bubba » Knight and her cousins William Guest and Edward Patten.
Even the name « the Pips » came from another cousin, James « Pip » Woods, who was their first manager.
This particular album comes from the group’s long and highly productive stay at Motown when they fully lived up to the company’s sales pitch of « The Sound Of Young America » but great though these tracks are they can’t be called the group’s zenith since there is no sign of any diminuition of their incredible mastery of their chosen musical idiom. Gladys Knight and the Pips were, are and will continue to be one of the truly great sounds of Black America.

🪐🪐 Back after a long time, paying tribute to my mother with this beautiful song by Tino Rossi.

Tino Rossi (1907-1983) was a French singer and actor from Corsica, known for his romantic songs and his gentle, soothing voice. His greatest hit, « Petit Papa Noël », is still a Christmas classic that touches hearts generation after generation.

This old vinyl reminds me of the love we owe to our mothers - and how precious it is to say « I love you » while we still can.

🎶 Take a moment, listen to this song, and tell your mom how beautiful she is and how much you love her.
One day, you won’t be able to anymore.

Take care, love your parents, and hold on to every moment. ❤️🙏🏾
