I got baptized!

My walk with God has been so challenging yet so fulfilling. I grew up not believing in God and in the times I did I was resentful. I couldn’t believe that something so good could exist.

I finally came to believe in the summer of 2020 at @frontiercamp , a truly amazing place that shows the love and mercy of God to all of its campers. I was so grateful and excited to begin my walk with the Lord. It wasn’t until this year that I decided I finally wanted to publicly declare my relationship with Christ. Baptism isn’t something someone must do to be saved, but for me it is something I felt was important to do.

My life has been a testament of Gods goodness, His everlasting love for me and the people I love, and His trust in me to make it through the most difficult times. My life is certainly not easy because I believe in God but it is so much easier knowing I have God’s everlasting grace to rely on. My faith in God is stronger than any fear I know 🤍

For last 5 years, every July has passed that I haven’t made it to the famous (in my mind) Albion basin to see the wildflower bloom. Finally!¡! I got to frolic in these gorgeous meadows.

As I walked through all the colors, the shade of the trees and heard the little critters I was overwhelmed with Gods presence. God is a beautiful artist and his paint brush is full of colors. I’m so grateful to get to live on this beautiful Earth.

Bucket list moment for sure.

For almost 16 years I got to love the most precious animal I’ve ever met. It makes my heart hurt when people tell me how much they don’t like cats, I would always say “well you have to meet Max, he will change your mind”. Max’s legacy lives on as I will tell people about our amazing perfect cat who was like our little brother. Rest easy in kitty heaven Maxy 🤍 by @___alexannndra

5 years later, 4 places I’ve lived, 3 universities I’ve attended, 2 major changes and all for 1 degree!! I am proud to say I graduated with my Bachelors in Animal Science with a minor in Chemistry.

Glory be to God!!
As soon as I find out how He plans to use me, yall will know. Until then I’ll try to figure it out. Soaking up Lubbock for the rest of the summer and excited to see what life has in store. Davis College graduate incoming !! 😝

Fun fact: I sat next to Jalie in ANSC 1401 on my very first day at Tech; me as a transfer junior, her as a freshman. Three years later, we’re still sitting next to each other in every class. by @___alexannndra
