BACK IN TOWN - OUT NOW

Have you herd the news? We’ve got a new song out and it’s the first single from our upcoming album “Where the Wild Bonnets Bloom”.

Indeed! That is the name of the album and I leaked it. Just like that. I couldn’t tell you when exactly this record will be released, but I can guarantee that when it is done it will be finished.

As always, the amount of support we’ve received on our previous releases has been incredible and flabbergasting. We could not be more thankful and excited to continue sharing our music with you all. Stay tuned 🖤🤍

celestial highway has been out for a week and we have made it onto the radio! now how we did we accomplish this feat? we emailed so many stations, the lists are available, the radio dj people are very nice! but they also seem to be very busy. we got a lot of bounced emails, or mailbox full, or give us a few months to review your submission. fair enough. we attached the actual email we sent here as well, and some shout outs to the stations that did respond.
We hope that someone finds this helpful or interesting! if anyone else has any hot takes, we would love to hear them as well :)

Nick and I (Georgia) painstakingly cut out and glued white fabric to these black morph suits for a Halloween show we played in my grandparents driveway back in 2023. diy or die baby. unfortunately there is no documentation of Nick or Andrew in their costumes…. maybe this year we can change that. gotta make a few more cow suits. the herd has grown.

“Back In Town” is our song about longing for someone you miss and the excitement/ anticipation of their return. Our upcoming album “Where The Wild Bonnets Bloom” is a tale of love and loss in the central Texas hill county. in this song we meet our first character “Sadie”. for a sneak peak of the lore listen to the full version wherever you stream your music… and for some extra context “have you herd the news” has some spoilers…

I'm dreaming of a better Earth. I'm dreaming of an earth that still has bugs and birds and salamanders. I'm dreaming of the time where it rains when it's supposed to, and food isn't something you have to choose between having and paying your medical bills.
This song is called thunderstorms and neon signs , Wayne Hancock already longing for that Old world in the late 90s. Will we ever be content with the world we have now? by @___bovine___
