Take a deep breath. I want you to see something, and I hope you really let it sink in: One moment of weakness does not erase all the progress you've made, and it does not mean God is disappointed in you beyond repair. Shame, guilt, embarrassment, and even disgust. Believe me friend, I've been there.I know how much these feelings can weigh on your heart. After all, I'm not prefect friend, I've dealt with it too.The fact that you're struggling with shame and that you don't want to let God down tells me that your faith matters deeply to you. But I want to remind you of something important: God's love for you is not dependent on your ability to be perfect. It's impossible. We try our hardest to stay of the straight and narrow (that's good) but we often forget that there are sometimes bumps in the road and when we stumble or fall we tend to spiral out of control, too ashamed to ask God for a hand getting back up . One of the things I love about the Bible is that God knew we would struggle. Look at Romans 7:19. Paul writes: "For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to doβ€”this I keep on doing." Think about that for a moment. Even Paul, someone who passionately loved and served God, understood the struggle of wanting to do right but sometimes doing the opposite.Your struggle doesn't mean you don't love God. It means you're human, and you're in a battle. It's a good thing God already prepared your armour friend. YOU ARE ALREADY EQUIPPED. Don't be so focused on the fall that you forget to stand back up ! Repent immediately and accept the freedom that has been given to you. Get in your word and use the armor that has been specially made for you. The enemy would love for you to believe that because you messed up today, you might as well give up, hide from God, or believe you're unworthy of His presence. But that's precisely when you need to run TOWARD God, not away from Him. That moment , right after the fall , is a crucial one , and he knows it. So say this prayer with me and break this chain. Remember, you can do hard things friend ! I love you ! until next time πŸ–€πŸ‘‹πŸ½βœ¨οΈ β«˜β«˜β«˜Λ—Λ‹Λβ™‘ΛŽΛŠΛ—β«˜β«˜β«˜ #repentance by @___breakingchains___
Sometimes living can be an incredibly heavy burden. Some days even getting out of bed is a challenge. No matter what you do/say, there seems to be this unshakable darkness over your life. You feel the type of tired that sleep won't fix. Chest is tight and tears flow freely, there is a storm in your heart. You try to stay positive and be thankful, you pray but you cant help but feel defeated, weary, and depressed. My dear friend, you are not alone in this. As human beings we fight many internal battles that no one knows about. We try to bury feelings that will eventually boil to the surface. Guess what ? You can be thankful for the life God gave you and still have days when living feels incredibly difficult. You can love God and still cry.You can have faith and still feel hopeless sometimes. You can count your blessings and still feel like something inside you is hurting. You can pray and still struggle to find peace. Those things are not contradictions. Please don't add guilt to the pain you're already carrying. Depression is not a sign that you lack faith, that you're disappointing God, or that you aren't appreciating His blessings.Even in the Bible, David cried out in despair. Elijah became so overwhelmed that he wanted his life to end. Their struggles didn't make them unworthy of God's love. I believe there's something important for you to remember. Scripture assures us in Psalms 34:17-18: "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God promises to be with you in your pain, giving you comfort and hope.Jesus invites us to bring our weariness to Him with open arms. In Matthew 11:28-30, He says, β€œβ€˜Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.' Lean into Him when you feel overwhelmed; His yoke is easy, and He longs to lift your burdens. Release control and lay them down friend. Say this prayer with me and break this chain of depression. β«˜β«˜β«˜Λ—Λ‹Λβ™‘ΛŽΛŠΛ—β«˜β«˜β«˜ Remember you can do hard things Friend! Friend, there are many things in this life that will test our patience. Relationships, Jobs, and the many unexpected trials and tribulations of life. After all that being told to "be patient" is the last thing we may want to hear. Let's be honest, having patience is sometimes easier said than done. Having your patience tested can leave you feeling tired, hurt, and fed up with everyone and everything. Sometimes the hardest part of patience isn't waiting itself. It's dealing with everything that comes with the waiting: ▫️Not knowing when things will get better. ▫️Praying about something and not seeing an answer yet. ▫️Feeling like you're doing everything you can, but nothing is changing. ▫️Watching other people move forward while you feel stuck. ▫️Trying to stay positive when life keeps testing you. But guess what ? Having a hard time being patient doesn't mean you have weak faith. You can love God, trust Him, believe He's working in your life, and still have moments when you're tired, frustrated, discouraged, and wondering how much longer you have to wait. You're human. God gets it. Stop putting pressure on yourself to always be patient. You don't have to pretend you're okay when you're not.Even in the Bible, David cried out to God. Job questioned what was happening in his life. Jesus Himself expressed anguish.God isn't asking you to hide your frustration. He's inviting you to bring it to Him.Sometimes the most honest prayer is: "God, I'm trying. I'm getting frustrated. I'm tired of waiting. Please help me find peace when I don't understand what's happening."That's still faith. One of the biggest mistakes we make is trying to emotionally carry tomorrow while we're still dealing with today.Matthew 6:34 says: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself."When you feel impatient, bring yourself back to today. Don't worry about how everything will work out next month or next year. Just let God get you through today. So say this prayer with me and break this chain β«˜β«˜β«˜Λ—Λ‹Λβ™‘ΛŽΛŠΛ—β«˜β«˜β«˜ you can do hard things Friend. Until next time ! πŸ–€πŸ‘‹πŸ½βœ¨οΈ #patience by @___breakingchains___
Hey friend, i know things may be hard right now, and I know it can be difficult to keep believing when life doesn't make sense. When it seems like life is just pushing you back, turning you every way but loose..you keep running into problems and you start to wonder "Is God even listening ?" But please don't think that just because you're struggling, God has forgotten about you. Guess what ? It's actually impossible to have to have everything figured out, and you don't have to be strong every single day. YOU ARE DESIGNED TO NEED GOD'S HELP . Remember the mustard seed ? Even when your faith feels small, God can still meet you where you are. Take it one day at a time. You're not alone in this. Sometimes the hardest seasons of life are the ones that challenge what we believe. Faith doesn't mean we'll always understand God's timing or His ways. It means we can keep seeking Him even when we don't understand. Faith doesn't mean you never feel weak. Sometimes faith is simply whispering, β€œGod, I don't understand what's happening, but I'm still reaching for You.” For example: Faith led Noah to build a ship and save his family Faith led Abraham to become a father in his old age Faith led Moses to leave Egypt without fear of Pharaoh Faith led Enoch to be taken up to heaven instead of dying My friend, please remember that having a hard time with your faith doesn't mean you've failed God. Even the strongest people have moments when they question things, feel lost, or wonder why certain things are happening. You don't have to hide those feelings from God. Talk to Him honestly, even if all you can say is, β€˜God, I need You because I'm struggling.’ Sometimes faith isn't about having all the answers; it's about taking one more step, even when you don't understand. So come on, break this chain and say this prayer with me. You can do this ! β«˜β«˜β«˜Λ—Λ‹Λβ™‘ΛŽΛŠΛ—β«˜β«˜β«˜ Dear God, I come to You feeling weary and challenged in my faith. Help me to trust in You, even when I can’t see the way forward. Strengthen my heart and remind me that You are always with me. Help me to find joy in my trials and to persevere in my faith. Thank You Lord God, Amen #Faith by @___breakingchains___
Even people who genuinely love God have moments when their emotions get the better of them. Stress, arugments where harsh words are thrown around like daggers, difficult relationships, and even road rage. We've ALL had our moments. Friend, the goal isn't to pretend you never feel anger, to try and bury it. It's to learn how to respond to it in a way that honors God. James 1:19–20 reminds us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. Notice something there ? "slow". Spiritual growth is a CONTINUALPROCESS. Sometimes you'll handle a situation beautifully, and sometimes you'll recognize afterward that you could have handled it differently. Losing your temper can be frustrating, exhausting and even embarrassing. You feel like you showed out.You messed up a little too bad. It's over now. You put your foot in your mouth. Jesus heard what you said and is too disappointed in you. Friend, don't you dare let the enemy convince you that Jesus Christ's sacrifice was for nothing. You are not condemned. As a matter of fact , your shortcomings were expected. What matters is what you do next ! Get this πŸ‘‡πŸ½ Let conviction draw you closer to Jesus, not push you away from Him.There is a difference between saying, "Lord, I didn't handle that well. I acknowledge that I can't follow the rules perfectly, Please help me grow and learn from this" and saying, "Lord, I've failed You. Maybe I'm not who I should be". The first mimdset opens your heart to transformation. The second can leave you trapped in shame. You can acknowledge your mistakes without defining yourself by them. If you hurt someone, you can apologize and make things right you're not apologizing to make yourself feel or look better. You're apologizing because of God's mercy. If you lost your temper privately, you can ask God to help you understand what was happening inside you.You don't have to punish yourself emotionally to prove that you're sorry. Remember, Jesus came to save and restore imperfect people, not to wait for perfect people to come to Him.You don't have to wait until you feel worthy, until you've fixed everything, or until you have the perfect words to pray. COME AS YOU ARE. #rage by @___breakingchains___
Listen, fleeing temptation isn't just a matter of how much you want to do what is right. It's also a matter of what condition your heart, mind, and body are in that day. For example, one day you are ON FIRE for God, resisting temptation feels almost effortless. Your mind is clear, your convictions feel strong, and what once appealed to you seems strangely uninteresting. The next day, the same temptation can feel louder, more attractive, and harder to escape. And sometimes,we straight up give in. You feel weak and weary, guilty, too dirty to go back to God. Unworthy of his presence. A failure ?, Nope. Human ?, YES ! Friend, there's levels to thisπŸ‘‡πŸ½ Matthew 26:41, Jesus tells His disciples: β€œWatch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” ⋆ Notice something ? Jesus acknowledges two realities at once: you can genuinely desire to do what is right and still struggle to carry it out. 1. Recognize the moment you're in. Instead of panicking because the temptation feels unusually strong, acknowledge it honestly: I'm struggling more today, but I don't have to act on this feeling. 2. Identify what has changed. Are you tired, stressed, lonely, angry, bored, or spiritually distracted ? Addressing the underlying condition can make resistance easier. 3. Flee early rather than negotiate. Second Timothy 2:22 says to flee youthful lusts. Sometimes the wisest response isn't to stand there proving how strong you are. It's to leave the situation, put the device away, change your environment, or redirect your attention before the desire gains momentum. 4. Return to God ASAP. Don't wait until you feel spiritually strong enough to pray. Pray because you need strength. And if you stumble, don't let shame convince you to remain distant from God.One difficult day does not erase the progress you've made. Flee friend ! Run back to God. Being unrepentant is like sitting in a jail cell with the door open, the guard has told you "You're free to go " but you don't feel deserving of the freedom on the other side of the bars. The enemy doesn't have to chase you if you've convinced yourself that you're already caught. #lust by @___breakingchains___
