I have a burden for people, most importantly the people in my family! I can’t speak Jesus to the world if I can’t speak Jesus to my family! I refuse to leave my family behind!! The Lord has called me to not only be light in the world, but to be a light in my family.

Why do we have more compassion for others than we have for our family? I’ve learned that I exercise more patience for others when I share the love of God than I do for my family. The Lord convicted me!! He said you have to work on your bloodline! You can’t leave them lost! Rahab changed the trajectory of her bloodline when she exercised obedience.

So I declare that I will seek the salvation for my family. I don’t want them to just see me, I want them to experience God in a way they could have never imagined. by @___em.marie

I am honored to see how the Lord has kept my Mother for 70 years. I’m grateful that He blessed me with a strong, loving, kind, God fearing example of what a Godly woman looks like. I know it wasn’t all easy, but the grace that’s on her life is a true testament of the loving character of God. I love you beyond words. I’m so grateful for the sacrifices that you have made not just for me but for our entire community. So blessed to be in a position in life just to give you back a small piece of what you’ve given to me❤️

We been rockin for 31 years, let’s got 30 more 🎉🥳💕

First Solo Trip down! I enjoyed every single second! Lately, I have been feeling overwhelmed with work, school and life. This was the reset I needed. Although work is still going to work, school is still going to challenge me, and life is always going to life, the Lord continues to give me the grace and the capacity to do all that He has called me to do. This island will forever be home to me🩷 by @___em.marie

This year has been full of lessons. The Lord Revealed to me early this year “It will not go the way that you think”. Little did I know my pride & my ego would have to surrender to the will of God. The Lord does not require your perfection, He requires your surrender.

The many obstacles that could have been avoided, if only I had been obedient. Perfection is a fleshly desire, and the moment we realize that our pride and ego is only fed by fleshly desires, we will change our appetite..

I went to a woman’s conference last year, and the Lord spoke to me and said “I will not embarrass you”. I didn’t necessarily know what that meant until this year.

Hey Yall!!! We are 9 days away from the new year so we might as well brag on our God. Today, I was reflecting on how our Lord is LITERALLY a COVENANT KEEPING GOD! When we feel as though we are at our lowest it is human nature for us to feel as though we are alone. Because we don’t see God, we question his existence in our lives. But I just wanna remind you that the Lord has never left you and he never will.

This story has been a constant reminder for me all year and I pray it encourages you. No matter how far you feel you are from God, he is right there with you.

Ps. Chileeeeeeeee no one told me this hosting Christmas thing is not for the weak😭😭😭😭 pray for me!

The countdown has begun! We are 10 days away from the New Year. I am so excited and hopeful of everything the Lord will carry out through us this year. This year has brought great joys & many unexpected trials, that I even questioned if I could even handle; but my Savior never left me.

As we wait in expectation, I want us to be reminded of how the Lord has covered and carried us all year Long. Month after Month, day after day, the Lord has been shielding us. Each day I challenge you to reflect on the kindness of God. All is takes is a memory!

No one talks enough about how dying to your flesh DAILY is a sacrifice that hurts!! Our flesh is set up to work against the spirit, so every day we have to be reminded that our savor already paid the ultimate sacrifice; and because of that we have hope.

Hope in the fact that He will never leave us! Hope in the fact that He wants to do life with us. Hope in knowing that nothing can separate us from His love. Hope in knowing that He knows we will suffer, but He has given us the tools to suffer WELL…. & if that doesn’t reassure you, check his track record!

I used to try to hide who I was in Christ Jesus! I felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit, but I wasn’t willing to let go of old habits & relationships. Living in the gray area was comfortable for me because I was trying to satisfy people & God.

John 14:15 “If you love me, keep My commandments.” See I thought going to church on Sundays, reposting my favorite “Christian reel” during the week & still keeping my same habits was enough, but all I was doing was compromising who I was in Jesus. Making excuses. Keeping other people happy.

• loving God is loving other people; no matter your differences.
• loving God is living a REPENTANCE lifestyle
• loving God is surrendering your fleshly desires
• loving God is seeking accountability
• loving God is seeking his face through prayer and fasting
• loving God is submitting to your purpose

Even tho I will miss the mark. Even tho I will make mistakes. Even tho I won’t get it all right. Loving God is an act of obedience.
