Today will be a celebration of life. Today is my 29th birthday. Today we lay my father to rest. May God have mercy on us both. by @___maganda

‎إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ‎ • Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (2:156) • “Verily we belong to God, and verily to Him do we return.”

My father has returned to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. He passed on Friday, during the holy month of Ramadan. SubhanAllah. Passing during Ramadan is a blessing for Muslims. And on a Friday is extra extra special. I hope that it shows as a testament to his character and his deen. May Allah be pleased with him and may Allah grant him the highest level in the hereafter - in Jannah al Firdous, in shaa Allah. My father was a blessing. I thank God for him. I thank my dad for choosing us. He took care of us. Alhamdulilah. He was the best dad in the world. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a good man. • Most of you don’t know, but my father was diagnosed with cancer in January 2020. Dad never complained despite the ups and downs. He fought a good fight. He always had positive energy despite the circumstances. I have always been a daddy’s girl. It was my greatest honor to help take care of him during his illness. It was my greatest honor to be by his side as he peacefully transitioned to the hereafter. In shaa Allah we will meet again. 6/20/1951 - 4/23/2021 ♥️ by @___maganda
