Warszawa ma swój rytm, kolor i detal.

W jedwabnej apaszce geometryczny wzór spotyka się z ornamentyką Starego i Nowego Miasta, z motywami, które na co dzień mijamy na fasadach, w architekturze i miejskich dekoracjach.

Projekt stworzyła Paulina Włostowska, przekładając warszawskie detale na elegancki, współczesny wzór.

Apaszka została wykonana ze 100% jedwabiu, jest dostępna w dwóch wersjach kolorystycznych.

▲ KINO is out today

▲ Kino by Marta Szewczyk and Andrea Jarales tells the story of a woman whose daily routine begins to blur as her obsession with a local cinema grows. Visionary hallucinations and fleeting moments of wonder weave through her life, mixing with the monotony of everyday existence. Each scene — from empty streets to the chaos in her apartment — reflects the protagonist’s inner disarray, showing how the line between reality and imagination becomes increasingly thin.

❋ On Saturday, February 14 - Valentine’s Day - we’ll premiere “Kino” - a short film by Marta Szewczyk & Andrea Jarales. Shot between Warsaw and Mallorca, it grew out of observing everyday rituals and the repetition of days that slowly begin to unravel.

❋ Although the premiere falls on a day celebrating love, “Kino” is closer to unloving, monotony, and the quiet tension hidden in ordinary gestures. Shot on Super8, raw and tactile, it balances between the recording of everyday life and an inner experience.

❋ We can’t wait to finally share it with you.

„Velvet Flowers & Melting Views” to książka fotograficzna autorstwa Marty Szewczyk, która w swojej twórczości łączy fotografię, kolaż i film, oraz projektantki graficznej i artystki wizualnej Moniki Proniewskiej, tworzących wspólnie kolektyw artystyczny Magic Wands.

Na „Velvet Flowers & Melting Views” składają się zbierane przez ostatnie kilka lat analogowe fotografie artystek, odwołujące się do doświadczanych w tym czasie zmysłowych wrażeń. Poprzez przeskalowanie, rozmycie czy wyjęcie z pierwotnego kontekstu, zdjęcia zyskały surrealistyczny charakter.

Publikacja Marty Szewczyk i Moniki Proniewskiej zabiera odbiorców do świata odrealnionych przestrzeni, wspomnień i pamięci, w którym zacierają się granice pomiędzy osobistym a wspólnym przeżyciem. ♠ last month, from 24-26.10, i had the chance to join the tour and support the band @higiena_postpunk with live visuals created specifically for their songs, along with some small synth parts. it was an amazing time & a great adventure - thank you, and i hope there will be more opportunities like this one in the future ~

Marking the summer solstice, we’re sharing the first part of the audiovisual composition originally presented live during the launch of Velvet Flowers & Melting Views at @u_jazdowski in March.

This ephemeral piece — echoing the book’s themes of blooming and soft decay — is a collaboration between the authors and composer Zoi Michailova @zoi_mic. Through sound and moving image, it translates the book’s atmosphere into a sensory echo.
