Giant Mountain 14/46 & Rocky Peak Ridge 15/46 10.1 miles traverse from Chapel Pond to New Russia, 4166 ft elevation gain. We missed our intended goal of sunset on giant by about 30 minutes, but it wasn’t the worst thing ever since it was socked in by clouds. We were rewarded x10 when we got to RPR and for the rest of the day. An unforgettable hike. Fall hiking is where it’s at. taken in Giant Mountain Wilderness Area by @__bree22__

My first solo hike was a personal endeavor, proving only to myself that…well…I can. And I did. Hurricane Mountain: 4.2 miles. 1800ft elevation gain. Views of 28 of the high peaks in the PEAK of foliage change. This was a stellar day. 3/9 of the @lakeplacid9er taken in Hurricane Mountain by @__bree22__
