a little bumi update: sharing the process & some things we’ve been working on behind the scenes 🌀

sent off our tech pack, renders + edits and finally got our first Bumi sample back 🥹

overall, pretty good first sample lol. but there were definitely some things that weren’t it.

the seams were too thick, there was too much stiffness under the bust + the dip in the bikini basically disappeared.

back to the drawing board…

after our first round of edits and honestly… we got SO much closer.

the bottoms came out pretty much exactly how i envisioned them - almost perfect!

we also changed the lining to make it softer + more stretchy, while still keeping structure with stitching all the way around.

the fabric + construction feel so much better, but we’re still perfecting the top.

less fabric, better fit. now just trying to get the shape right so it flatters both smaller + fuller busts.

waiting on our next revision… we’re almost there! by @__bybumi
