I never shared this video last year. To be honest, I still feel the sting from this game.

I’m nobody to be asking anything of any player or coach but if you could just give them a little extra and then some tonight, and bring home that W, it just might help me feel better! Never let up!

Go Black Diamonds beat the Cougars!!

I sure miss watching my boy play!!

David sent this to me while crossing the Mid Bay bridge into Destin this morning. I appreciate all of you who check in when there has been a storm. Please keep them all in your prayers. 🌀⚡️ by @__catymcmurtry__

BLACK DIAMOND NATION — THIS SQUAD NEEDS YOU. 🧡🖤

Our Sallisaw cheerleading squad is headed to STATE & my gut says YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!

They need the crowd.
They need the noise.
They need the energy.
They need to look up into those stands and see BLACK DIAMOND NATION SHOWED UP FOR THEM! 🎉

In competitive cheer, presentation is everything — and a crowd that is loud, engaged, clapping, yelling and reacting can completely change the energy inside that arena. This team has spent countless hours practicing, perfecting, conditioning, repeating the same counts over and over again for a few minutes on that mat.

Now it’s our turn to do our part.

📣 WHEN THEY HIT — GET LOUD.
📣 WHEN THEY STUNT — GET LOUD.
📣 WHEN THEY TUMBLE — GET LOUD.
📣 FROM THE SECOND THEY STEP ON THAT MAT UNTIL THE SECOND THEY STEP OFF — 📣 BE LOUD.

Wear your orange. Wear your black.
Bring your voice. Bring your signs.
Bring everybody you can.

AND —

PACK. THE. STANDS.

They are chasing 🖤STATE🧡, and I want them to hear Sallisaw them every single second.

📍 Southern Nazarene University
🗓 Saturday, September 26
⏰ 9:00 AM - should take mat @ 10:35!

A weenie bit older… officially 1️⃣5️⃣, and it feels like from here we’re going to blink and be at your graduation. 🥹💗

Happy 1️⃣5️⃣th birthday to our beautiful Phebi!

There is something so bittersweet about watching the little girl you’ve loved grow into this beautiful young lady right in front of you. You’re finding your own voice, figuring out who you are, learning some hard lessons, making memories, and becoming more and more of the young woman we are so incredibly proud of.

You are beautiful, funny, strong-willed, tenderhearted, and wonderfully unique. Life with you is never boring, and I wouldn’t trade getting a front-row seat to it for anything.

My prayer for you this year is that you always know your worth, never shrink yourself to fit where you don’t belong, choose people who love you well, and above everything else, keep God close. I pray He protects your heart, guides your steps, and reminds you over and over again just how deeply loved you are.

Happy 15th birthday, sis. 🎉💗

We love you more than you know. by @__catymcmurtry__
