“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬ ‭

“Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭2‬

Chat, did ya miss me? Because I sure did miss y’all. 🥹 As many of you have noticed, i’ve been MIA. As someone who grew up in the generation driven by social media, I have never taken more than a 2 week break. So I felt it was only right I give up one of my favorite things to honor my God.

I spent a lot of time growing my relationship with God and also getting to know myself through him. I was baptized back in March and felt like I was floating in peace ever since. 🥹

I wanted to be tested. I wanted to see how disciplined I could really be. The truth is, I love posting, building community and engaging with so many wonderful women on my socials. But, I wanted to be uncomfortable. I wanted to see how far I could take it

Reflecting on the past 40 days, I am so proud of myself. I strengthened my faith and relationship with the Lord. A huge shoutout to all of you who reached out to check on me. 🥹❤️

All praise to the Lord most high 🙏🏽❤️ by @__chubbs

May my life and body be an altar that brings Him glory.

Romans 12:1

After my injury in October, I spiraled into a victimhood mentality. What I felt was the end of months of hard work, gone down the drain in the blink of an eye — was actually the beginning of God’s redemption. He’s restored it tenfold. 🤍 taken in Diva Dash 5K by @__chubbs
