Big thanks to @romanianbits and @lemonherbrecords for having us on!🍋🌿

This mix dives deep into the nostalgic sounds of early 2000s tech-house. Drawing inspiration from the era's defining artists, including records from Grant Dell, Jay Tripwire, Sasha Dive, Peace Division, 1200 Warriors, and Dyed Soundorom, TripHazard captures the raw energy and innovative spirit of the time. Expect a journey through pulsating basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and intricate soundscapes that defined the tech-house movement. This mix is a tribute to the pioneers and a testament to the enduring appeal of classic tech-house

Cobes is an Irish DJ and producer currently based in Australia, where he has resided for the past two years.

His early exposure to DJing came through his stepfather, a DJ in the 90s, who had Technics turntables at home. Cobes immersed himself in Dublin’s club scene around 2012, influenced by the deep house era and artists like Brawther and Julian Anthony.

Post-Covid, he became involved in DJing and promoting with Elmnts Dublin. Over the last few years, he has focused on honing his production skills. Heavily inspired by the 90s progressive house renaissance, a sound he was familiar with from playing records with his stepfather, this influence is evident in his productions which can be found on @Bam.trax Voices For Change EP.

Catch Cobes from 4.30-6am on the stage.

Out Now: Various Artists – Voices For Change EP [BTX003]

When we first envisioned launching our label, this release was at the heart of our plans—so we’re thrilled to finally share Voices For Change, a six-track Various Artists EP, with the world.

This special compilation aims to raise funds and awareness for alcohol and drug education. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to @alcoholdrugfdn, an organisation that has been working for over 60 years to prevent and reduce the harm caused by alcohol and other drugs across Australia.

Featuring six tracks from six talented artists across four countries, this VA explores a diverse spectrum of late-night sounds. From bouncy tech house basslines and progressive synths to euphoric vocals, acidic bliss to Techno, it’s a journey through genre-blurring dance music—designed to take you deep into the night.

Tracklist:

1. Anüraa – Amphibian Bounce (@anuraa____ )
2. Cobes – Enter The Dragon (@__cobes)
3. Daze – Impressions (@daze_cz)
4. JJ Fortune – Uhadenuf (@rizzwax_rizound)
5. Nathan Pinder – Disconnect (@nathanpinderr)
6. WorkForJoy – Push It Back (@workforjoymusic)

Now available to purchase via our [Bandcamp – link in bio].

Huge thanks to the incredible artists who made this release possible. Your support means the world.

Stay tuned—our new merch line will be dropping soon, with all profits also going toward this important cause. Keep your eyes peeled!
