What started as a sketch became a lure thanks to my good mate @97_smitty . After hundreds of hours, late nights, and plenty of persistence, it was finally inhaled by the trophy Mulloway I’d been chasing. 139cm of pure reward, then tagged and released so someone else can experience the same thrill one day. One of those moments that makes it all worthwhile.

The big McArthy mamba 11inch.
Slow rolling with a few pauses, the power they were hitting it with was wild!

New combo worked perfectly, Venom 8kg baitcaster handled the big mamba with ease and absorbed all the big head shakes like a dream.

Second cast on the Duo Realis Onimasu glidebait and this big girl cracked it on the slow roll. This glidebait has to be one of the best casting glides I’ve casted unreal distance. Fish was hooked up under the chin when I netted it trebles got all tangled up in the net 🤦🏼

Mulloway on the wake bait "Zerek stalker 180”

Found a school of mullet pushed up to the surface tied on the zerek stalker started casting around the school of mullet took about 5 cast and had a Jew explode on it hooked it for it to shake the hooks not long after. Found the mullet again done the same thing had another smash it after quick battle and few pics was sent back on its way.
