POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Yesterday my best friend and the love of my life asked me to be his wife. I could say yes a thousand times and it still wouldn’t be enough. Yes, for all of eternity Bryson Beckworth 🩷🙏🏼🕊️

They way it happened was so Bryson and Hannah coded 🤣 The night before he said I had to go to bed early so we could “go take pictures of the rosaries at the Rapids”, well per the usual I woke up late, puttered around and got ready. I even asked him if I needed to not wear my ring on that finger 🫣 but I was only joking I had no idea.

We got to the Rapids and Brysons wallet had fallen out of his pocket somewhere so we had to go ALL THE WAY back to my house, find his wallet and go all the way back to the Rapids. When we got there it was so hot and when he started saying we needed to find a private area that’s when I started picking up on it. Well on a Friday afternoon it’s hard to find a private place and I was about to resort to hiking down a slope in a skirt so we could get a spot 🤣🙏🏼

Since I kind of already knew what was happening, we brainstormed and said why not go to Saint Mary’s, our church. I said if he was going to do it in front of anyone it would be so special to do it in front of the Lord. He asked if we could do it in the Chapel and Father Ross said yes. We skedaddled over there because we had around 45 minutes until the church closed. The way that it happened was so perfect and meaningful for us. This place has such significance for us, Father Ross actually set us up on a blind date and doing it there was just perfect. It was also on October 16th, the anniversary of the start of Saint Pope John Paul II’s Papacy, and he means so much to my whole family. Brysons mom also let me know tonight Jesus died on the cross right at 3 PM on Friday and our proposal happened right at 3PM this Friday. I believe and know this pairing was ordained by the Father. And watch what happens right as Brysons knee hits the ground, at exactly 3 PM 🥹😭🤍 that just happened and wasn’t even timed. Today happened exactly how it was supposed to and it was perfect 🥹

I love you forever ever and ever amen Bryson Beckworth. 🕊️🩷 by @__hannana__

Just a sneak peak at how the next art project is going so far😅🙏🏼🕊️ I’ve been wanting to make this piece into a bigger painting for a long time but I’m think I’m about to put it on the top shelf and push it to the back corner for the next ten years 🫣😭🙏🏼

Sketch Time with Jesus: Dwell Part 1: Who Are You?

I haven’t done one of these in SO LONG.

Last year during prayer, I remember asking God a really simple question, “Who are You?” Someone once told me it is good to ask Him questions about Himself, to get to know Him on a deeper and more intimate level, and I thought hey this is the best place to start. 😊

The name that came to my heart was Yeshua. Jesus. Since then, I’ve wanted to learn more about the names God has revealed to us in Scripture and what they teach us about who He is. Addonai, El Elohim, and others. This time I sat with I AM.

I was drawn to the first time God introduces Himself as I AM, Moses and the burning bush. Oh my goodness gracious, there is a lot packed into Exodus 3. It is so good.

Moses is tending his father-in-law’s flock when he notices a bush engulfed in flames. Intrigued by how it isn’t being consumed, he turns aside to look. God calls him by name, “Moses! Moses!” and Moses answers, “Here I am.” (Also imagine being called by name by the Father🥹) tears.

God tells Moses that He has seen the suffering of His people, has heard their cries, and is going to deliver them. He then tells Moses that He is sending him to Pharaoh.

Moses asks, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh?” (Moses goes on in Exodus 4 stating more reasons he believes he is inadequate and then asks God to send someone else.) But God, who does make mistakes or does not falter in His decisions, stood firm. He doesn’t give Moses a list of reasons why he’s qualified or tell him to believe in himself.

He simply says, “I will be with you.” Exodus 3:12. (Which is one of the most comforting things, and is mirrored so many times throughout scripture) Moses asks what he should tell the Israelites when they ask the name of the God who sent him.
Here, God reveals His divine name to Moses in such a profound way, “I AM WHO I AM.” Exodus 3:14. Continued in comments because once again I am rambling🫶🏻

This video is approximately three minutes of beads, Catholicism, questionable decision making, interruptions, cookies, and me somehow turning a perfectly reasonable rosary idea into an entire production. 😂 Manager Lucy also did not stop by for quality inspection but after all the chaos, I wish she did🐈‍⬛🤍

I have to say though this may be one of my favorite and biggest rosaries I’ve made yet. This one is now available for anyone who’s interested 🤍🫶🏻

I wanted this one to feel strong and a little old-world, while still being beautiful, and something inspired by the courage and faith of St. Joan of Arc.

Apparently making a rosary inspired by a woman who went into battle meant I also had to fight for my life while making it. I should’ve gone to bed and tried again the next day 😅

St. Joan of Arc, ora pro nobis. 🤍

A slightly-late WIP Wednesday (on Thursday) 😂🤍 if you know me are we surprised, late is my middle name. Homework won last night, so Work in Progress Wednesday had to become Work in Progress Thursday.

Here’s a little peek at a few things currently on my workbench. Ive been slowly putting some of the ideas floating around in my head onto paper. I hope to one day have time to make these into bigger pieces but for now I just love being able to sit with the Lord and just scribble away what He puts on my heart.🤍 One on one time with Him helps slows down such a busy, fast paced world.

Saint Thérèse once said, “I wish to profit by the smallest actions, and to do them for Love.” I’ve realized lately that I need to be more intentional about making time for Him and recognizing those small, yet sacred, moments with Him, in every season of life, whether busy or slow, crazy or calm. (Right now chaotic 😅) Maybe these little sketches never become anything bigger, maybe some of them will. But I’m learning that they don’t have to become something bigger to make the time spent creating them with Him worthwhile.🫶🏻

A little note for everyone who has reached out about rosaries, thank you SO much. I’m sorry I’ve been a little slow responding! Between homework and getting everything ready behind the scenes, I’m playing a bit of catch-up. I’m working through messages now and will be sharing more of the rosaries that are available very soon. 🤍

Running a Catholic creative corner while in grad school requires slightly more time management than anticipated. But anywho, welcome to WIP Thursday. 🤭🤍

“What matters in life is not great deeds, but great love.” St. Thérèse of Lisieux 🌹

There is so much beauty in the little things, in things made by hand, prepared with intention, and created with love. Although small, these envelopes will carry prayer, sacred art, tradition, and remembrance into homes beyond our own.

For now, just a small glimpse of what is being prepared for November. Maybe soon I’ll give a sneak peek of what’s actually inside 🤭🕊️ But I’ll probably end up showing you everything. I just got the test prints and I’m way too excited. I’m also horrible with Christmas presents, so this tracks. 🫣😂

Remembered by name. Held in prayer.

A little peek of something being tucked inside the November collection. I wanted to include something that felt especially intentional and thoughtful, a small reminder that the Holy Souls we pray for are not forgotten.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. 🤍🕯️

Something beautiful has been growing behind the scenes. We’ve been working hard to put this together and this has become so special to us.🕊️

This November, we’re creating our very first devotional collection, inspired by the Holy Souls in Purgatory and the beautiful Catholic tradition of remembering and praying for the faithful departed.

Inside, you’ll find little pieces created to help bring the liturgical life of the Church into your home through prayer, sacred art, tradition, reflection, and something for the table. Perhaps some may find an extra super secret special gift to show our appreciation 🤭

Had every intention of making a calm and relaxing ASMR video.

Did not anticipate how deeply embarrassing it is to film ASMR when you’re sitting there trying to get the beads to make the perfect sound 🫣🫪

Apparently we can’t behave in this house for the duration of one voiceover. Luckily Lucy didn’t make her cameo this time and a Rosary was successfully remade 🙏🏼🤍🕊️

Thank you, Father Mychal.

I learned more about Fr. Mychal Judge while making this, and his story has really stuck with me. What a profound example of bravery and selfless love. His ministry and reach impacted so many.

He went into the North Tower on September 11th to be with those he loved and served. He prayed with them, recited the rosary, ministered to the dying, and ultimately died alongside them.

One of his quotes especially stayed with me: “If you descend into somebody else’s private hell and stand there with them, it ceases to be hell.”

I think there is so much truth and a beautiful reminder of Christian community in those words.

We can’t always fix or take someone’s suffering. We can’t take their cross away, but we can help carry it. We can sit with them, pray with them, feed them, listen to them, and simply stand there with them.

One of my favorite verses is “No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”, John 15:13. Let us be Christians who show up and help when we are called. Let us be brave like those on 9/11.

Thank you, Father Mychal Judge. May we never forget all those we lost on September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

Country roads, take me home to Rome?🇻🇦

So I may have gotten a little carried away in Canva and made a mildly unhinged OCIA flyer.

But in all seriousness, if you’ve ever been a little curious about Catholicism, have questions, or just want to know why we do all the things we do: HEY YOU 🫵 OCIA might be for you!

I went through OCIA myself last year after I started looking into Catholicism and reached out to the church because I wanted to learn more. And now, less than a year after becoming Catholic, here I am making flyers with Pope Saint JPII binoculars on them. Full circle. 🥹🤍

You don’t have to know that you want to become Catholic to come. I actually showed up my first day with no intention of becoming Catholic. I just wanted to learn more. You can literally just be curious. Come learn, ask questions, and see where it takes you. It’s also a great refresher course for those who are already Catholic!🤍

OCIA starts September 15 at St. Mary on the Hill!
