That i couldn't be there for y'all
When y'all needed me most
When y'all needed someone
That could understand y'all
love y'all
Hold y'all
when y'all couldn't ask me for it 'Cause i wasn't there to ask.

There are many reasons why I wasn't there as y'all grew.
Maybe it was your mother's
I know they always did
What they thought was best
For y'all
Out of their deep love.
Sometimes they were right to protect y'all from
me
If i was lost in my own confusion.
Sometimes they were wrong
And confused from their anger about
Our situations
Im upset i didn't see what harm we were doing
And them keeping us apart
'Cause y'all mother's and i
Were angry and sad with each other.
Sometimes though
I have to tell y'all,
It was me that was the problem.
I didn't know who i was,
And i was lost trying to find out
Just who and where
my heart was.
I love y'all deeply,
Always did.
But in the confusion...
In my confusion over y'all mother's and i leaving each other
In me having to get away from them or them wanting me to get away i put distance between us
The pain
Coused by growing with y'all
Then being prevented from connecting. I couldn't bare the excuses and the "good reasons" why we couldn't spend some time together.
I couldn't bare the loneliness without y'all
I tried for a long time to spend time with y'all ,
But it got to happen less and less.

I had to create a new life
A life without y'all.
I Have to get me whole again.
I have to get me sane again.
I have to remind myself that im loveable.
So i am sorry i missed out alot
So very very sorry.

One day we will all be great.

And as long as im alive as i hope to be
I'll be here for y'all.
Ill be here for y'all to
Answer all y'all questions
Take all y'all anger and disappointment
And love y'all so clearly
That y'all will know
Know that never changed
All through the years.
I hope then we can build new relationships based on mutual respect and love
And then we can all grow
Past the gap left.

I felt this was necessary an apology to all my children and their mother's
