Nearly a year after my Bosco Session, I decided to shape the live recording into my first self released tape ~ the composition unfolds in two movements, prelude and fugue, forming a landscape of moments born on a sunny day in the unique place that is @boscostudio_
May that moment echo into many others, new ones and yours, especially in these times of uncertainty

Out now, link in bio / @bandcamp only / Limited edition tape

A few moments from the past few days in Tallinn at the @emta_ee where I had the pleasure of performing an immersive live set as part of an evening dedicated to therapeutic music, listening and wellbeing //
I also had the opportunity to meet with students from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre to explore listening and sound perception together

Many thanks to the Academy and to @einikeleppik for the invitation and to everyone who joined us 🤍 taken in EMTA Kontserdi- ja Teatrimaja by @__idra__

CHILLERS presenta: IDRA

Ci vediamo lì 🤍 by @__idra__

Domenica 27 settembre l’estate lascia spazio all’autunno.

New Eternity single out today! For my album Eternity in Hour I asked several of my favorite ambient artists to make “reworks” of tracks from Eternity in an album. This track is called “Of Innocence”, and was made by the incomparable @__idra__. Her music has accompanied me in so many quiet moments; I am beyond humbled that she “reworked” one of my pieces with her signature beauty.

Full double album out October 23rd! by @__idra__

Pre-order link in my bio! Eternity is a project I’ve been working on for several years, combining my two great loves: choirs and synthesizers. It features the Eric Whitacre Singers, Emma Denton on cello, and yours truly playing piano and a battery of synths and electronics.

The second half of the album features 8 “reworks” which allowed me to work with some incredible musicians: the phenomenal saxophonist @jessgillamsax and several of my favorite electronic/ambient artists: @blankfor.ms, @lesjamusic, @__idra__ , @mattlowery, @elin.piel and @luca_longobardi_ .

The entire album will be released on October 23, and you can pre-save it now on all streaming platforms and pre-order the CD or vinyl. The vinyl is also available with a lithograph of my original “Emotional Architecture” sketch for the piece.

The first single is out now, simply called In an Hour. It is the final track of Eternity and has what I hope will be the most epic choral/electro anthem you hear this week. I never have this relationship with my own music, but I can honestly say that for the past few months I have listened to this track whenever I feel I need an injection of pure joy, optimism, and surrender. by @__idra__
