Twenty-eight👑🤍✨

This birthday feels different. Maybe because I’m getting closer to 30, and I’ve found myself thinking a lot about who I am, who I’m becoming, and where I thought I’d be by now.

But I’m learning that life doesn’t always follow the timeline we imagined. I can be grateful for where I am and still desire more. I can trust God and still have questions. I can celebrate my progress and still be honest about the things I’m figuring out.

Lately, I’ve been reminded of how much the little things matter. The kind words, the tight hugs, the people who see you trying even when you think you’re hiding how you feel. Sometimes, those little moments remind you that you’re doing better than you give yourself credit for.

So today, I’m celebrating more than another year. I’m celebrating the girl who keeps showing up, even when life feels uncertain. The little wins, the lessons, the growth, the prayers, and the grace that has carried me this far.

I may not be exactly where I want to be, but I’m no longer going to overlook how far I’ve come.

Here’s to 28. To becoming, to trusting God’s timing, to giving myself grace, and to a life that continues to unfold in beautiful, unexpected ways.

This year really tested me.
I’ve cried silently, fought quietly, and still showed up smiling.
People see me and think I’ve got it all figured out, but only God knows the battles I’ve faced in private.
There were nights I broke down, days I couldn’t explain what I felt but grace kept me.

Through every tear, every lonely moment, every unanswered call… God stayed.
He carried me when I couldn’t carry myself.
And somehow, I still come out looking fine, calm, and unshaken …that’s not me, that’s His grace.

I’m grateful for life, for love, for who check in, for family, for peace that doesn’t make sense.
This has been one of my toughest years, but I’m still standing stronger, softer, and thankful.

Here’s to a new year of open doors, answered prayers, and blessings I didn’t even see coming.
God, thank You for everything.
