Almost every product I make eventually comes in contact with hand tools, it’s the most efficient way in getting the final shape I intend , sometimes the only way!! I’m lucky enough to have basically everything I need, it’s been a slow process getting there but I find that good tools make good work. There is something quite satisfying in make objects using tools that were made by fellow makers., can’t beat that!

Full circle moment
.
I spent over a decade working in a small glass shop. It’s basically where I learned everything., through those years we worked on a lot of the early @lashedarchitecture projects , it was my first introduction into the world of architecture. I remember walking through maison Wilson and having a sense of awe. It was the first time that I kinda felt a part of something like that. Fast forward almost another decade and here is probably one of my biggest table sets yet .. all walnut , no compromises .. I feel lucky to have my furniture in one of these houses.. I can’t wait to see it fully finished ., here’s a glimpse , cropped and focused on my set.. but this is propable one of the nicest new builds I’ve had the chance to work in!
