Red is for Sickle Cell Awareness
When I got the call that my daddy passed I immediately felt so much joy for him. He looked so peaceful that I realized I've never watched him asleep before. He was always in pain or laughing. I think that's where I get it from. Laughing to keep from crying is a skill! Sickle cell patients deal with a pain and loneliness that those without it will never feel. My dad knew God before he left and was loved by us so much. I am my fathers daughter and I'm not afraid of anything. ❤️
