Happy Bday 2 Me Year 38 is SELF-REFLECTION. šŸ¤ Iā€™m a firm believer in signs and energy. Therapy helped me accept one thing: I have to stop expecting me out of other people. For years, Iā€™ve protected people. Iā€™ve never shared my side of situations, kept my mouth shut and I still wonā€™t. Some stories donā€™t need to be told for me to heal. My silence has always been louder than the tea. The last two years have been the hardest of my life. Year 36, my son became fatherless. The same ones who seen Lilā€™Nique grow up and knew him personally created false narratives, had opinions and gossiped... but never checked in. Cool. Year 37, those close knew I had health scares and had surgery and that my name was placed in negative spaces without knowing the truth. Yā€™all had tea to sip... But never a genuine ā€œYou Goodā€.. I love that bout ya. The funny part? While my world was falling apart, I was still giving money to help ppl with the kids. Still answering calls, holding hands, wiping tears, defending people in rooms they werenā€™t even in, and opening doors people couldnā€™t have opened without me (will always be proud of you)ā€¦. The same people forgot that I once allowed them to rent out UnLuvd for free, put money in pockets and helped them build brands. Simply, putting people on because thatā€™s just who I am. I never kept score... until I realized nobody else was even playing the same game. When life is good, the ride is always smooth if youā€™re sitting in MY passenger seat, cause Iā€™m gone put my hand in front of ya belly if I gotta slam on brakes. And honestly? Thank you. I appreciate every lesson because it made this next chapter easy. Thank you for the gossip. Thank you for the silence.ā€ØThank you for the fake love. The last two years didnā€™t broke me down but built me up stronger. Year 38, Iā€™m choosing me without guilt. Pulled out my scissors and they donā€™t come from hate... they come from clarity, but they cut clean. From the vault never dropped theseā€¦..I like my pregnancies ā€œprivate and intimateā€..Not a lot of phone calls or a lot of convos about itā€¦.This was the hardest pregnancy everā€¦.A whole month early and today he turns 1ā€¦.I am in fact 2 old for this shiiiiiii!!!!! A girl from VA did the unthinkable mid pandemic and a time was had for the past 3 years, and now our lease is up. Although, we would have loved to stay and attempted to renew months ago. However, our terms were not met and because of that the space was no longer fitting for the direction UnLuvd is planning, we will still be in LA doing more things that fit our artistryā€¦.That said the world tour begins as the next state is waiting on usā€¦.Thanks to all who supported and the family we gained on Melroseā€¦We forever locked inšŸ˜šŸ„° taken in Melrose District by @__jayb33__
