when you come back from your holiday needing another holiday (and new luggage)

Your see, we use our luggage like a passport, with stickers instead of stamps and oh boy was our last set full but just like my passport recently, it was overdue for a renewal.

And I can’t decide who is happier about our snazzy new @bellroy Transit Check-In set:
1. me because it has in built packing cubes and comes in the most gorgeous colourways
2. @__jedd because of the super smooth wheels to make his life way easier when he inevitably carries them both around the world for us.

Either way, we can’t wait to show you where we have taken them first 👀✈️🧳🏝️

Normally wouldn’t drag our suitcases through random alleys in our hometown but we wanted to put @bellroy ‘s new Transit Check-in to the test before they make their official debut in our travel setup.

As always, super impressed with the build quality and design. A little thought goes a long way when you’re travelling constantly, so you know the drill. I’m keen to stress test this one in the coming years.

Quiet moments from our Japanese winter.

As travelling photographers we rarely are both in the frame together, so these moments are worth capturing when we can.

We travel for work - a bit more than a little. Anyone who knows me understands I am a big camera gear and design nerd and love well a designed product. Human centred design and all that.

While we’re currently back home for a little, we’re testing out the new Cinch Carryall from @bellroy . This one’s a fun pick up, it’s a bit bigger than my usual travel sling (also Bellroy ofc) so will be great for more of those day trips into Japan (we’ve only been home a week but take us back already!!!)

would you go rafting in Japan… in snow?! ☃️🛶🇯🇵

📍Ashinomaki Snow Park was the
biggest surprise on our recent Aizu winter trip in with Snowmobiles, Banana Boats, Snow Rafting, Kamakura/Igloo and more for ¥1000 day pass!

A snow park set up by local tourism to bring more community and engagement to the region and I would say they are doing a great job

You won’t find this anywhere else in Japan.

We aren’t skiing this trip, so we are showing off some hidden gems for those who want to explore the winter wonderland of Nagano, Japan. Would you spend a day visiting here?

Togakushi Shrine, Nagano, is the home of the school of Ninja with the name translating to ‘school of the hidden door’. With the path beyond the main shrine being lined with a majestic cedar promenade, there is a certain kind of mysticism and awe here. Almost as if you’re being watched from eyes amongst the tree tops.

Accessible from Nagano via Bus, we were able to do this as a day trip.
