Bah, Humbug? More like pure gratitude. ✨

I am incredibly honored and deeply humbled to announce that I’ve been cast as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at Woodstock Arts this holiday season!

Stepping into the shoes of such an iconic character is a literal dream come true, and I am so thankful to the creative team and everyone at Woodstock Arts for trusting me with this beautiful, timeless story. I can’t wait to go on this journey of redemption alongside an incredibly talented cast and crew.

We run from December 4th through December 24th—yes, all the way to Christmas Eve! It would mean the absolute world to have you in the audience. Grab your tickets early (link in bio! 🎟️), keep your eyes out for some ghosts, and come share the holiday spirit with us! 🎄🎭 @woodstockgaarts by @__john.lee___

Greece Part 2 🔵 Santorini. Blue clear waters, white washed walls, blue church domes, catamaran in paradise, mesmerizing sunsets, and dreamlike views. It isn’t just a place - it’s a feeling.🇬🇷 ⛵️ ☀️

In May I traveled to Greece “by stage” in Mamma Mia performing with the most talented individuals to date. During the shows run I had a “spontaneous” idea to go to Greece in real life.

In August I turned that idea into a reality. As I prepare to fly back to Atlanta - I’m bringing with me memories that I will never ever forget full of views that I never thought I’d see in my lifetime. I met strangers that are now family, tasted food and local wines that were indescribably amazing, and experienced places and sites that I only dreamed of.

Greece- thank you for an unforgettable Euro Summer. Feeling blessed and fortunate beyond measure.

So now begins •Chapter 41•

Nashville/Pride Fest, biking through the city, meeting so many new faces, eating the best hot chicken at Waldos, and celebrating the right to love whoever you want to love. 🚲 🏳️‍🌈

Ending the birthday surrounded by a group of humans who know how to celebrate life to the fullest. 🍻 Beyond thankful for this life and the blessings that have come with it.

If you ever get the fantastic opportunity to work a show with the incomparable @hilltaptier- then you will experience the pure joy of her exposable camera photo ops. Easily one of my favorite things…ever. 🤍💙

Long post BUT: Today we close Mamma Mia! Truly a bittersweet day. 4 months of building a stage family, hard work, and dedication - to do the thing that we love to do the most: live theatre. 🎭

To those who came to watch the sold out shows over the past 4 weekends- you brought every single ounce of energy and fun to this beautiful show and I can’t express enough how much your support means to everyone involved in this production. 💙

To our fantastic Director @zachstolz: Thank you for helping me discover things that I didn’t even realize I had in me as an actor. You allowed me to unlock the character of Harry Bright in ways no one else could. “Thank you for the Music” has a whole new meaning for me now because of you - what a great journey it’s been. So incredibly happy that I finally got to work with you.🎵

To our MD @kt_bergs and Choreographer @thealexself -
Working with you both has been nothing short of incredible. Many long nights of music and dance rehearsals- none of this would have been possible without you. What a DREAM CREATIVE TEAM! I hope to work with you both again in the future. 🎤🕺🪩

To @riley_n_tag, @lilliexgrace , @mal_eddy217 , @harpermonroe10 and our entire MM crew- thank you for making us look and sound so fabulous every single night. I’m still in awe of the beauty you all created. The set, lighting, sound, and visual effects were breathtaking. You helped transport us and the audiences to Greece every night in magical ways and it has been a pleasure working with all of you. ✨

And finally- to the Cast. I have done many shows in my lifetime but none have touched my heart more than Mamma Mia. I worked with many familiar faces this spring and new faces as well. The bonds we made and the family we all grew into is something they simply cannot be replicated. I love you all and would work with any single one of you again in a heartbeat. Thank you for this brilliant ride. 🫶

We are all headed to “Greece” one more final time again today to close this magnificent run. But the memories will last forever. 🇬🇷🧳

See you on the next trip together! Love- “HB”. 🤘 🎸 @woodstockgaarts taken in Woodstock Arts by @__john.lee___

Come have a Head Bangin’ good time with the Mamma Mia cast! We still have some tickets available for our remaining shows. (They will go FAST!) You have 2 more weekends to see this incredible production.

It has been an honor to share the stage with so many talented actors this spring. My heart is beyond full. @chaseabyrd86 and @hal.rayner - what a privilege it has been to be part of the “Dad Trio” with you both. Sharing the stage with you and this cast has been unforgettable.

“Thank you for the Music.” - HB 🎶 🇬🇷 💙

To quote one of my favorite musicals Carousel- “March went out like a lion.” 🦁 What a busy, beast of a month! Adventures, new experiences, rehearsals, and a quick getaway to the mountains. Throw in the company of some awesome individuals and I’d say it was a pretty spectacular month.

Let’s see what April has in store! 💐 PS come see Mamma Mia! We open in exactly ONE month and tickets are selling super fast! Link for tixs in my bio! 💃🕺🪩 by @__john.lee___
