More abt the raps:

I love music. I like making things that I love. However, I do not like recording raps. I just feel like I should be able to do whatever I’m doing in one take. Idk why I put so much pressure on myself to be perfect when I make it very clear to that I am not a rapper. This is not my bread and butter. It’s just expression. I’m rapping nonstop for two and a half minutes. So what I didn’t get the best take all in one. Putting them together made me happy so here we are. Layered all 3 of the takes so you can hear me fuck up. Cause I do be fucking up.

@theartistmag this is your fault. I wrote this after you dropped the sketch to Mop. I thought you were crazy as hell for rapping over a Mick beat. My mind is still blown. I go back and play it regularly. Thank you for being you. by @__kalesea

When people ask what I do, I never know what to say—I do a lot, and I do it because it feels right. I’m always evolving, and for my own sanity, I have to follow what feels right in the moment. That’s just me. Since I don’t have a podcast episode for y’all, I’m sharing this verse instead. After a conversation with my mom about faith, it felt fitting. It might not be as entertaining, but it was fun to write, record, and film. Here’s to the end of an era and the beginning of a new one!
