You only turn forty once. So I decided to throw an epic y2k themed house party with @i_wiloz and everyone understood the assignment.

So grateful for dancing, my fun friends, my strong body, my creative mind, and my full life. Looking forward to this decade!

My little 20 year old self is so freaking proud!

I have been a fan girl of the Slow Food movement since the first time I read about it in an environmental science class in college back in Oklahoma circa 2006. It felt far away and I imagined what it might feel like to be in a room with so many smart and creative chefs, farmers, growers, activists, and just …. Friends who know how and why to make a good meal and share it with people you love. I wanted to be that person one day.

It’s been a winding journey, that’s still revealing itself, but I’m so grateful my path has led me to a life where I am brewing coffee for these creatives and sharing ideas. Love doing it with my socia and so many other inspiring folks in agriculture,food, coffee, and community , making the world a better place in all the tiny, slow ways.

Leaving inspired, and grateful to belong. ♥️
