Views from my year as a 27104 resident! Last August, I moved out of Knoxville for the first time in my life. The newness felt scary and uncontrollable. I didn’t know how to settle into a life that felt so foreign and be away from the only people I had ever known. I was weepy for the familiarity of home and the feeling of being “known”. Fast forward a full year and I’m weepy again, not because I’m moving to Winston, but because I’m leaving. I don’t even remember what life was like before this place or these people. I truly am not ready to leave, but rejoice in the way the Lord intimately crafted this time for me and know He’ll do the same for what’s next. He was in the details for me here, time and time again. As a planner, I can’t help but laugh at how none of this was remotely in my plan for myself. But praise be!O Spirit of God, be as present in our parting as you were in our gathering! by @__megmitchell
