Murids in the rhythm of Safar.

The first Safar marks the beginning of the preparations for the celebration of the Grand Magal de Touba, a religious event commemorating the exile of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba, the founder of Mouridism.

When the Ocean calls part II

This series is about the search for silence in a world that never stops moving.
The crowd represents the river — the noise, the expectations, the constant motion.
The ocean represents the inner world — the place where clarity begins.
He walks toward the sea to listen, to breathe, to realign.
And when he returns among the people, something has changed:
he no longer fears the noise.
Silence now lives inside him.
Inspired by Rumi's words:
"Silence is an ocean. Speech is a river. When the ocean is searching for you, don't walk into the
river. Listen to the ocean.."
