11 years ago, I began living a life of chronic pain. Four years ago, doctors told me my stomach was completely paralyzed as a result of a treatment I was going through. For half my life, I lived with chronic pain, daily vomiting, IV infusions through a port, home health nurses, wheelchairs, 20+ procedures, seizures, medically induced menopause at 17, and many incurable diseases. I stopped going to school and my bed was my safehaven.
Eventually, I hit a breaking point. I no longer trusted doctors. I no longer trusted anybody. Nothing was working. But, I knew there was only one thing I COULD do. For three weeks, I sat on my bedroom floor in worship and prayer, not just asking God for healing, but repenting and surrendering pride, anger, and other sin that he revealed to me in that time. I told God, “If You heal me, I’ll tell everyone what You did.” Then I felt the Holy Spirit say, “Take the tube out, and I’ll heal you.”
I fought with my doctors for weeks to make it happen. They warned me of every possible risk, even death from malnourishment. But I believed that what is impossible with man is possible with God.
After my feeding tube was removed, everything changed. The pain I had lived with since I was 11 disappeared. I got a job I wasn’t even looking for, completed ministry school, returned to college, and finally turned my hospital-like bedroom back into a home.
For years, I thought my illness had stolen my life. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. God didn’t just heal me physically, He delivered me, transformed me, and broke things off my life that never would have changed without that season of desperation.
God wants to heal us, but sometimes we can be the very thing standing in the way.

This entire experience put my relationship with Jesus on a whole other level, and changed things within me I never thought could be changed.

From doctor appointments to a degree

4 years ago, the Lord Jesus healed my body of many incurable diseases. After that, I was blessed to be able to work a job, and with that job, I worked hard to make money to pay out of pocket for a college degree I began to pursue.

The Bible says that one day everything on the Earth will be destroyed and pass away, along with this piece of paper. Riches, status, and accomplishments are temporary, but eternity with Jesus is forever. My identity isn’t a college graduate, but a daughter of the ONE true living God

WOW!!!! what a FUN time💛💛💛 it was so sweet to bring some of my music in my hometown & to bring these talented local musicians who got to share their gifts and worship with the Lord with me !!! These shows were such a full circle moment.
