Yes, I survived!
Six years of dedication, resilience, and countless lessons. The journey was far from easy, navigating one of the toughest courses at the prestigious University of Ibadan.

There were moments of pure joy, times of sadness, and days filled with frustration. Some days I felt on top of the world, while others tested my faith and strength. But through it all, God saw me through.

Today, I proudly reintroduce myself:

I’m done waiting to feel “ready.”

For a long time, I convinced myself that I needed to know more, achieve more, and become more before I started showing up.

So I stayed behind the scenes.

Learning.
Applying.
Failing.
Trying again.
Growing quietly.

But I recently realized something:

The opportunities you dream of can’t find you if they don’t know you exist.

So this month, I’m making a different choice.

I’m choosing visibility over perfection.
I’m choosing consistency over excuses.
I’m choosing to share what I’m learning instead of waiting until I’ve mastered everything.

Over the next 30 days, you’ll see more of my journey—building a career in product management, exploring AI and AWS, sharing lessons from community building, documenting wins and setbacks, and telling the stories that shape who I’m becoming.

Not because I have all the answers.

But because someone else might need to see that it’s okay to grow in public.

If you’re also building something, learning a new skill, chasing a dream, or simply trying to become a better version of yourself, I hope you’ll join me.

For the person who started this year with so much hope, but somehow feels like the year is ending and they are still standing in the same place.
For the person who has watched people move ahead while wondering, “What about me?”
For the person who has tried, failed, started again, prayed, waited, and still doesn’t have the answer they hoped for.
For the person who feels behind.
For the person who is tired of pretending they are okay.
For the person who has quietly wondered if it is even worth trying again.
My prayer for you as October begins is that God gives you strength where you have none left.
May He remind you that your life is not running on the timeline of everyone around you.
May He open doors you could not open for yourself.
May He restore the opportunities, hope and confidence you thought you had lost.
May the things that have taken longer than expected finally begin to make sense.
May you receive good news that makes you say, “God, I didn’t see this coming.”
And when you look back at this season, may you realise that you were not forgotten. You were being carried through it.
If all you can do right now is take the next step, take it.
You don’t have to have everything figured out as October begins.

She would prayed about it so many times, she didn’t even know what to say anymore. At first the prayers came with expectation. God. Please heal me. Then weeks turned into months, and the prayer slowly changed. God, please just help me get through this. And for a minute, she wondered if God had gone quiet. But then she remembered God hadn’t stopped being God just because the answer was taking longer. The Bible says, ‘I am the Lord who heals you.’ And that changed something in her. Just because you’ve carried it for years doesn’t mean you’re meant to carry it forever. Sometimes it’s about holding on to the one who can heal. So if you’re carrying something today, in your body, in your mind, or somewhere nobody can see, I hope you remember this. God can heal you.
