it’s hard not to feel anything but gratitude after the year I’ve had. Even with all the shit, there is so much to be said about this year, so much to learn from & everything to thank God for. My mom always tells me “you have the best friends. you all take such good care of each other. I’m proud of the person you are to not only be able to attract people like that but to keep them .”

I love my friends so deeply it makes me a little uncomfortable lol I’m in awe of every last one of them. Cabo, Czech Republic, Hungary, Palm Springs/Joshua Tree, Paris & the South of France, Arizona, Tampa and Greece — we really did it the fuck up this year. I’ll never be able to explain how much these moments with these people mean to me. how kept, how secure, how beautiful & how worthy i feel. love you motherfuckers real bad ❤️ by @__pattymakesperfect

my sweet mommy. my best friend. the amount of love i have you for is immeasurable. the amount of admiration i have for you is immeasurable. you were the best part about life. the expectation that i am to exist fully without you here is hard to fathom. i made your program 20 pages long. could have gone for 40 but i finally chose to find the happy medium between sensible and insane— you would have been proud of that. you are so loved. it was a full house. the number of people who came together to honor you — how many lives you affected directly & indirectly — not a dry eye in the room. not a single heart that didn’t weigh a ton. light of my life. every single ounce of goodness in me derived from you. ive always talked about you obsessively but now, when im able to speak about you without shutting down, i’ll be insufferable. the stories will be what saves me. not a single person will hear about me without hearing about you. whew. i’d like to scream. i’d like to throw a house. iloveyouiloveyouiloveiloveyou. forever my absolute best girl 🕊️❤️ by @__pattymakesperfect
