4 Dora’s For Alligator Pie @soulpeppertheatre

Proud and honoured to be a part of this iconic DORA WINNING OUTSTANDING ENSEMBLE - the magic was there from the very first group audition and it was so touching to have it recognized last night by our peers. I love these people so much - there will be a lifetime of love and collaboration among us. There will be more to come….🌪️🏠

I was reflecting last night about the last 10 years in Toronto - I’ve spent so much time in this city in weird sublets feeling lonely and foolish while scratching away at a dream 7 year old me was very determined to live out. Sharing this moment with the Alligator Pie Divas and running into so many people who have shared important pieces of the journey felt like a wink from the theatre gods that perhaps I’m less of a fool than I thought.

10 years ago @munisharma.com0 and I were doing a show in an barn in Estevan with no air conditioning - last night I got to watch his show Mahabharata SWEEP the Dora’s

Sharing this night with @davidandrewreid & @madelynkriese from our @theatresheridan Class of 2017 (the best class oops) was so cute - Maddy and I got to watch David speak so eloquently on behalf of the cast of A STRANGE LOOP for their Dora Win

I’m still bashful when I run into @lucyadelehill @daniel.maslany @amatysio - the Saskatchewan heroes of my youth who blew my socks off at @globetheatrelive and inspired me to get on stage through their many iconic performances. Daniel and Lucy also taught me at Globe Theatre School and have always been so supportive.

Huge shoutout to everyone at Soulpepper, including departing icon @weynimengesha who brought us together - to @iamjamessmith for his friendship and musical genius and @vernski9 for steering the ship and both taming and encouraging my rambunctiousness - she is such a beautiful person and is so deserving of the recognition she received last night.

I’d like to thank the academy (lol), my agents, my parents, and that little guy who decided acting/creating theatre was a good career path taken in Meridian Hall by @__ru__
