Music feels good. Dancing feels good. Feeling good while dancing to music feels good. Come to East St Hall this Friday and you’ll also feel good about helping to finish homegrown feature THE UNGRATEFUL TENANT ahead of NZIFF. I’m DJing with @ssarahthomsonn as part of a stacked lineup. Good good good. by @__stivvy__

Had a great time last week helping to make @hollywoodavondale's sold-out advance screening of @charli_xcx mockumentary film @themoment (in Aotearoa cinemas from today!) as awesome as it deserved to be.

Wrangling Charli's fave Auckland DJ @monoga.my to create a pre-movie dancefloor, getting @colleen__colleen and @warnermusicnz on board to provide prizes for a costume competition, and packing, um, single-serve popcorn bags made the night even more fun. Go see it!

As the year winds down, it’s time to share some news: my role at Flicks has been disestablished. I finish up on December 29.

I don’t know what my next job is just yet (hint) but will continue my film and entertainment radio coverage on Newstalk ZB, 95bFM, and other outlets - so please keep the good stuff coming my way.

It’s been 12-and-a-bit years since I took the reins at Flicks, in which time I’ve had the pleasure of working with so very many awesome people who are enthusiastic about connecting the public with movies and shows to fall in love with. It’s been my mission, too.

Writers, studios, festivals, publicists, cinemas, streamers, filmmakers and dreamers - thanks to all the good ones out there for being the best parts of my time at Flicks. Thanks also to my day-one Flicks colleagues, @pauljscantlebury and @liammaguren.

There’s still a bunch of stuff coming in that I’m looking forward to publishing - we’re not done just yet!

Thanks again to everyone who’s made this a great ride. See you out there over summer.

Go get ‘em, @aneeka_moheed.

You’ve done yourself proud at @95bfm, and it’s been a blast off the pitch as pals and housemates too - truly awesome times.

Courtesy of Lindsey Halligan's (interim U.S. attorney with no prosecutorial experience who's prosecuting Tr*mp's enemies) idiotic correspondence with @annabower

Congrats to pals @earthtongue and all the other good ones who took home @aotearoamusicawards last night.
Personal highlight (of the year?): enthusiastic chats with Savage about the @nzwarriors team song (and about another great former housemate @mixedbysouschef). Wishing you all delightful if dusty #nzmusictshirtday by @__stivvy__
