From the moment I stepped onto the campus of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, I knew this would be a transformative chapter of my life. Today, I stand proud and grateful, reflecting on the challenges I’ve overcome, the memories I’ve created, and the community that has shaped me. This is more than just a degree—it’s the culmination of hard work, growth, and unwavering support. Hawks fly high, and today, so do I.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has played a role in shaping me into the person I am today. To my family, your love, sacrifices, and encouragement have been my foundation. To my friends, thank you for your unwavering support and for always believing in me.

As I look back on my time here, I take pride in knowing I’ve left a legacy that goes beyond grades and accolades. I’ve worked to inspire change, foster growth, and create a lasting impact in every space I’ve occupied. From leading with purpose to uplifting those around me, I’ve strived to set an example of what it means to leave a mark that lasts. This chapter may be closing, but the legacy I’ve built—through service, dedication, and relentless drive—will continue to inspire and empower those who come after me. My work here is done, but the influence will remain. #hbcugrad #umesgrad #hbcumade #ididit

“An association, society, or community of people linked by a common interest, religion, or trade.”

To the sometime destructive always productive ALMIGHTY Alpha Mu Chapter, Thank you for entrusting me as your chapter president and instilling the true principals of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service.

To Kufufuka, my line brothers, words can hardly capture how much you mean to me. Through shared goals, hard work, and unforgettable moments, we’ve built a bond that goes far beyond brotherhood—it’s family. You pushed me to be my best, reminded me of my purpose, and stood by me every step of the way.

To Safari Inaendelea, being your ADP has been one of the greatest honors of my journey in Phi Beta Sigma. Watching each of you grow and carry on the legacy of our fraternity has been truly inspiring. As I close this chapter and move on to new horizons, know that I am immensely proud of you all and confident in the impact you will make. Remember, the bond we share is eternal, and I will always be here for you.

Farewell,

To the T & T Administration, thank you for embracing me with open arms and showing me the role of a student leader. I truly gained lifelong friendships throughout this time.

Last, and certainly not least to my Change Administration being placed as Student Government Association President has been one of the most difficult yet honorable positions that I have held on campus. From our weekly meetings to planning HawkMania (2022) it was a pleasure leading and serving my UMES Community.
