What's good friends & family✊🏽

Finally get to show y'all what I've been cooking up with my guy @4.kameal to bring what started as an audio-only concept, to an official audio-visual series called PROGRESSIONS.

PROGRESSIONS is a visual and auditory experience, born from the idea of bringing soulful sonics, dynamic musical progressions, and rhythmic resonance to your world. Further emphasizing the philosophy, WHETHER IT BE IN LIFE OR MUSIC, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE PROGRESSIONS📈

ALL PROGRESS IS GOOD PROGRESS

PRODUCED BY KAMEAL MOCK & DARIUS SANDERS
SHOT/EDITED BY KAMEAL MOCK
ON-HANDS ASSISTANCE/DRONE - SANTOSH DONGOL

Full visual set is now live on my YouTube channel (link in bio)

MORE COMING SOON
Happy listening🥂

Yooo

Catch me outside this weekend🌳

First stop: I’m w/ my sis @saysahr at @thevioletcrown_atx for our @fubu.dot Spring Revival Jazz event. Last time we did this, it was a sincerely beautiful time, with an even better turn out. This time, I’m moving through the diaspora—blending sounds, telling stories—paying homage to jazz, the mother, the root, the origin🌹
I’m also honored to be joined by my brother and special guest @dagreene_media adding live percussion to the mix🤝🏽

After, from 10p–12a, catch me at @leftysdayandnight for a backyard set— I’ll be in my open format bag for the rest of the night✊🏽

Pull up. Bring your people. And enjoy the music🤝🏽🥂

2 years ago, I was confused when I prayed for motion, but received lessons—no clear answers, just more questions.

Now, I’m filled with even more gratitude for every single experience, down to the last second.

Here’s to many more years of growth and gratitude 📈🥂 taken in 30s by @__thereheis__

Yooo

Honored to celebrating black rhythm, culture, and creativity this weekend. Here are the events you can catch me at this weekend:

Friday (6p) - I’ll be aboard the @_ofcoloratx Black Art Airways, as your in-flight DJ and saxophonist,
cruising at the intersection of culture and soul. There will be an abundance of art, music, fashion, informative panels, and more at @distributionhall . Get your tickets on the @_ofcoloratx page or in my bio🛫🤝🏽

Saturday (7p-10p) - I’ll be playing house w/ an emphasis on jazz for “Haute Summer Nights”, hosted by the family, @fubu.dot ✊🏽
Come enjoy a silky and sophisticated night at @communitygarden.austin w/ a nice glass of wine, while enjoying only smooth grooves and deep cuts, by yours truly.🌹🍷

See y’all soon🥂

Although I’m not feeling the most patriotic atm, the only thing we’re celebrating today are the marginalized communities that make this country, and world, truly great✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

- Come join me and @eliarbor today at @daydreameraustin from 10p-2a, to enjoy soulful music and communal celebration🥂

- On July 10th, I will be providing sound selections for my @fts_edu family and alum, at their industry networking event at @dawaheals , “The Pop Out”. As a @fts_edu alum, I am very excited to see people have access to many prominent voices in the music and entertainment industry. RSVP for the event both on @fts_edu and my page. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity🫱🏽‍🫲🏿
