Entered Records presents ENT 002 Jesse You - Detour EP

We’re opening another chapter in our musical journey—ENT002 is on the horizon, crafted by Seoul’s underground force @jesseyou . It’s set to be released in the coming months.

With its signature classic doorway in Red this time around, paired with the pseudoscience mystery of the Zodiac Wheel of Signs, as soon you pick this record up it will speak to you, give you a sign.

The EP comes full tilt with 3 original tracks and a remix by @rudolf_cee . A detour, a side step, a culmination of deep lush sounds worth keeping your ear and bag ready for this southern hemisphere spring.

With just 1 sleep to go until our event, we thought it was the perfect time to fill you in on proceedings.

For our third appearance at Solace Bar, we’ll once again be drawing on the venue’s dual sonic architecture—two separate systems across the bar and club floor—a canvas for contrasting atmospheres through the event.

In the bar, the evening opens with a pared-back atmosphere from 19:00, guided by Edward’s restrained selections. At 21:00, Naarm newcomer Con steps in with a fresh perspective, before Dayle—an established name on the Breakfast Club circuit—closes the room with a steady hand through until 01:00.

Above, the club space will move with intention from 21:00hrs as Dasha SPRW opens with direction. Timo follows, shaping the progression toward Jesse You’s appearance at 00:30, where a bag full of gems will take the main stage.

⏳ Two weeks out till our event at @solace.bar. @jesseyou steps in with a raw cut for Zonate Records mix series—dark, groovy, and built for the floor.

“Our next mix comes from Jesse You, a key figure in Seoul’s rising underground and resident at the ever-essential Club Hertz. Known for his versatility behind the decks, Jesse takes this opportunity to explore a rawer, darker dimension - blending mid-90s to early-00s techno, electro, and sleazy house, all tied together with the infectious groove that’s become his signature.

Recently named by Trommel as one of 12 artists to watch in 2025, and with a growing reputation for crowd-moving selections and standout productions, this mix is a sharp reminder of why Jesse is on the rise.

After crossing paths in Vietnam, we knew we had to get him on the series. With a knack for building journeys that keep energy high and weaving in curveball records that always land - this mix is no different. A heads-down, late-night trip with just the right amount of bite”.

With a handful of sleeps to go until our event, we thought it was the perfect time to spill the beans on proceedings.

For our second outing at Solace Bar—now well known to many—we’re making full use of its two distinct sound systems in both the bar and club floor, aiming to create a juxtaposition of moods.

Formalities will kick off in the bar space at 19:00, where Naarm favourites Dolly and Kimi will set the vibe with an extended four-hour back-to-back set. Then, Entered Records’ team player Shane Anthony will take over, keeping the bar’s energy flowing until 01:00.

Meanwhile, the club floor will bring intensity and momentum as Ebbs ‘N’ Flow lay down their signature tech house groove from 21:00 to 23:00. Entered resident Edward will then take the reins, guiding us into the main event—KABUTO—who will take control at 00:30 for what will likely be a masterclass in deep hypnotic house and techno (really not one to be missed).

Ebbs ’N’ Flow is the meeting of two seasoned producers and longtime Naarm staples—Dashiell (Ménage) and Will (Hybrid Man). With deep roots in the local scene, their contributions have helped shape the sound we love, making it all the more special to have them playing a Dj set together under the Ebbs banner.

With recent release on Kalahari Oyster Cult and Foul Play we are stoked to have them setting the scene on the club floor of @solace.bar on the 20th.

On Friday 20th June Entered Records returns to @solace.bar

Presenting:

KABUTO (Daze of Phase /JPN)

Deep within Tokyo’s underground music scene, a discreet yet masterful selector has been shaping the city’s house and techno landscape for the past 20 years.

His influence is evident in his long-running LAIR series at Grassroots, an iconic Higashi-Koenji bar where he spotlights Japanese artists, and in his acclaimed event, Daze Of Phaze. This party leans toward a more forward thinking approach, differing from the sleek minimalism and hypnotic techno that typically dominate the capital. It has attracted talents like Evan Baggs, Andrew James Gustav, Gwenan, and Oskar Offermann, establishing itself as a go-to hub for Tokyo’s most forward-thinking selectors.

Kabuto’s artistry behind the decks is unmistakable—elegant and fluid, yet rich with depth. His selections pulse with Detroit-inspired chords, deep acidic basslines, and soaring strings, channelling hi-NRG influences with warmth and authenticity. His seamless, near-flawless mixing style is technical without being sterile, carrying an emotive touch that has earned him the affectionate moniker “Aniki,” meaning “big brother,” from artists and friends worldwide.

Last year, kabuto performed at Craig Richards’ Houghton Festival where he delivered arguably the set of the weekend alongside DJ Masda.

We are thrilled to announce Kabuto’s return to Melbourne for his An Entered State debut.
