If you’ve seen my Lego builds, it should be no surprise that I’m a Disney Parks fan and I wanted to provide a bit of background behind the person building these deep cuts and more. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge | First Order Cargo and TIE Echelon Here is my finished build of Galaxy’s Edge that I displayed at @brickworld Chicago this past weekend! Back in January when I was taking reference photos of the arms shop in Galaxy’s Edge, I walked by this corner of the land and thought it would make a really good diorama since it had a clear beginning and ending and am really happy with how it came out. This is my largest build at 86x56 studs and is a culmination of techniques I’ve learned through the years from ship building, to angled buildings, rock work, and more. I’m likely going to take a break from Galaxy’s Edge as I have some other Disneyland MOCs in mind, but let me know what you think! Fantasy Faire | Fantasyland For @eticket_builders Fantasyland Forever challenge, I built Fantasy Faire! This area is where you meet the Disney Princesses inside the Royal Hall in addition to Storytelling at the Royal Theatre. 🏰 Opened in March 2013, Fantasy Faire replaced Carnation Gardens Plaza, a small and mostly underutilized area to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle where swing dancing occurred Saturday nights and performances from local music groups in the day (I was one of them in high school!). 🏰 This build is my current favorite because if you know me, I was a cast member at Disneyland and worked this location a lot as an entertainment host, helping guests meet the princesses. 🏰 Since I am so familiar with this area, this build has probably the most amount of references of what it is like working there. Minifigs include: ✨ (x2) Squires ✨ Fairy Godmother in Training ✨ Fantasyland Cast Member ✨ Snow White ✨ Aurora ✨ Belle ✨ Evil Queen ✨ Gaston 🏰 Up until now, I hadn’t really built any medieval architecture and think it came out really well for a first go around! From the arched blue roof to the foliage, I loved the final result so much that I tried out lighting for the first time with the Starter Pack from @lightmybricks ! 💡 I would love to continue building out the area as the angled buildings would be a fun challenge! POV: you’re waiting in line for Peter Pan’s Flight I am building the facade of Snow White’s Scary Adventures (get that Enchanted Wish pastel color scheme outta here!) and wanted to share a progress post. The idea came from @captain_brick_sparrow when I shared that I bought a window from a Frozen set and he suggested the Snow White facade with the Evil Queen staring out. There is a window frame piece that fits the window, but I needed a more angular shape, so used arches to fit the window between it and a channel brick on its side and a bar to slot it in on the bottom. It’s kinda loose, but doesn’t fall out! I am thinking of modifying Snow White’s Cottage to be the loading zone and to fit the facade around it, but we’ll see the more I build this beast…I’m imagining it’ll be about 64 studs wide 🫪 Follow along for more updates at @__tm31__ and I’ll see you soon! by @__tm31__

Peter Pan’s Flight | Fantasyland Come on everybody! Here we goooo!!! My final build for @brickcentricdotcom this weekend finishes the series off with Peter Pan’s Flight! This opening day attraction was my favorite as a child and still one I love to go on when I visit. Its such a timeless attraction that I don’t think can be beat. 🥹 ✨ The ride vehicle is by tacotaco64 on Rebrickable and was gifted to me by @extraevancontent . I was happy to finally make a MOC for it that wasn’t the loading station! ✨ The walls are built sideways to get the striped design. I went to @bamirvine and swore I grabbed enough plates, but you’d be surprised at how quickly I burned through them. ✨ The little furniture was fun to build and made the Darling’s bedroom cozy and lived in. I hope to see you this weekend at @brickcentricdotcom and that you can relive a “Day at Disneyland!” taken in Fantasyland by @__tm31__

Peter Pan’s Flight Loading Station | Disneyland I usually try to keep my builds displayable by not doing parallel walls, but it was unavoidable here and thus photographs kind of weird. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride | Disneyland This is the scene from Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride where you die. 🫣 If you’re not familiar with this opening day attraction at Disneyland (and now defunct at Walt Disney World), you crash head first into a train and head to a rather unpleasant place afterwards (no spoilers here!). While it is a flat ride, there are bumps on the floor to simulate the train tracks paired with an overhead light on a track meant to be the train that is rushing towards you. Snow White’s Scary Adventures | Fantasyland I did something I normally don’t do for this MOC which was open the Snow White’s Cottage set just for the minifigs, but not build the set. 🫥 This was because I - 1. Don’t have the shelf space and 2. Am not ready to commit to what I’d MOD the set in to to make it theme park related. I was thinking either the loading station and first show scene of Snow White’s Enchanted Wish or the ending of Seven Dwarves Mine Train with the Witch peering in…but that’s a problem for a future day when the shelf space opens up. In the meantime, enjoy my build of the final scene of the original scary ride at Disneyland. This wasn’t originally built for @eticket_builders , but it fits the Halloween vibe so thought I’d throw it in there. 😱 (PS I was disappointed that Instagram didn’t have the forest chase music from Snow White so I hope you don’t mind my use of Night on Bald Mountain…) #disneygram #disneyland #legodisneyland #legodisney #snowwhitesscaryadventures #snowwhite #evilqueen by @__tm31__

Alice in Wonderland | Fantasyland ♥️ An exclusive dark ride found only at Disneyland, California, this is my Lego build recreation of the Queen of Hearts and her court chasing you outside. ♠️ In researching this ride, I learned the ride used to end at this indoor section and actually didn’t even feature the Queen of Hearts, but was the Mad Tea Party. The second indoor section wasn’t added until 1984, a year after the New Fantasyland remodel in 1983. ♦️ @spectralbricks helped design the face of the caterpillar and I think he captured the condescending look of it perfectly. The instructions for the caterpillar are on my Rebrickable along with a few other ride vehicles if you’re interested in building them yourself (they make great desk objects!). ♣️ The card soldier design was also inspired by @brickfambuilds who did some a few years back and are the perfect minifig scale. 💫 Follow for more Disneyland Lego builds! #disneygram #disneyland #legodisneyland #legodisney #aliceinwonderland #queenofhearts taken in Alice in Wonderland by @__tm31__

Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin | Mickey’s Toontown Here is my recreation of Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin found only at Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland! I recreated Spin Street which takes place after the Bullina China Shoppe scene and can be seen from the queue (which is a neat feature of the deceptively long queue). Reference images by @lmgvids The ride in Anaheim and Tokyo are identical minus the Jessica Rabbit character change that happened at Disneyland a few years ago. The Benny ride vehicle was built by @you.block.head and I modified it to fit a minifig and a few other cosmetic changes. Check his profile out for more ride vehicles (I used his boat for my Pirates of the Caribbean build a couple months back)! I went for a more organic shape by using a round plate to imply the u-turn you take through this scene and a 45 degree plate to show the tiles of the China Shoppe. The telephone pole was also a fun little build. I’m also really happy with how the eyes of the building came out by using brackets to offset the window frames by half a plate. Indiana Jones Adventure Ride Vehicle | Adventureland I realized I never posted this! When I was working on my Indiana Jones Adventure build, I was trying to downsize @ponnegi_lego05 ‘s version of it so that it could be placed within the Tunnel of Torment and Gates of Doom. Even after downscaling (mostly narrowing the width and shortening the length a bit), it ultimately still required a lot more temple ruins and I was on a deadline and running out of dark tan parts, so for now they’ll just be companion pieces to each other. 😅 💀 The Enhanced Motion Vehicle or EMV was the first of its kind and would later be replicated for Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom. 💀 Like the ride vehicle, this one can move through the use of a ball joint separating the top and bottom half. 💀 It seats all 12 minifigs, a rarity as I sometimes have to cut a seat for scale!
