…With it everybody benefits🐶. A Dog Mom Turning Grief into Service🌈 Supporting Shelter Dogs @nycacc

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Someone messaged me this… expecting me to feel relieved and happy. But all I feel is guilt, exasperation, anger and disbelief. I will never forget this traumatic introduction to animal rescue, mere months into my journey/commitment to support shelter dogs. I will never get over being so naive of this community, so trusting of the rescue organization (that was more vigilante than organization) nor will I forget the guilt for the part I played in the chaos she had to endure. If it is true that she is adopted-I pray she is safe now and will be given the happiest, most understanding & loving life just as she deserves. I move forward with so many lessons leaned from our experience, & never not thinking of my survivor - Lil Baby aka Baby Girl💔🙏❤️‍🩹. @nycacc #adoptdontshop❤️ #animalrescue by @__tobyshelp

💙Spice💙 - AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION❗️Sweet puppy Spice- he is great for a variety of homes due to his quiet demeanor and moderate activity levels. He is fiercely loyal and affectionate. His expressive eyes and adorable ears are just the beginning — he is an incredibly smart 1.5-2 year old who was abandoned in the middle of winter & who has survived 6 months in the shelter despite his shelter circumstances. In Foster care, he has grown so much and continues to grow thru his puppy phase. He is so fun and eager to please…he is ready for his forever home😇🐶 ID#: 247724 ❤️🐾 #nycacc #cleartheshelters taken in Ridgewood - Queens NY by @__tobyshelp

‼️💕FOSTER NIECE UPDATE💕‼️
Willow💕(fka Esther)!!!
After being found abandoned on the street, this perfect girl found herself being a long stay at the Queens ACC.

Thrilled to share that she found her perfect family and forever, and is thriving in upstate New York. She is living in peace after being subjected to a cruel set of circumstances.

Nothing is better🥰🥹

Update ADOPTED🎉- 💕Jamie (ID: 261303)💕 This dreamgirl is a gentle soul. She exudes peace & patience. During our #BoroughBreak Jamie enjoyed her car ride and relaxing in the park. She quickly showed me her love language: touch & treats! When a group approached to meet her, she readily welcomed them demonstrating her amiability to humans despite her life leading her to the shelter. She is potty trained and at almost 60lbs, is living in a pop-up crate for 23 hours a day (at least). Despite this, she is the sweetest girl, most approachable girl. She deserves the most loving home. 🐶 #cleartheshelter #boroughbred #nyc #adoptdontshop taken in Ridgewood - Queens NY by @__tobyshelp

Rescuing animals means having a plan and resources for long term care. You aren’t a #rescue organization because you pull dogs from @nycacc at-risk list only to make them live through chaos thereafter (with no marketing to get them adopted). You are just lying vigilantes. 💯💯💯 #cleartheshelters #qacc #miraclelanefarmsanctuary #miraclelanefarmnsanctuary by @__tobyshelp

💗BellaJae💗 - Another long stay beauty. Found after being left home alone for days due to a medical emergency with her human. She turned one year old while at the ACC. She is just a baby & she is so well-mannered, wonderful disposition, loving, cuddly and patient with all the human attention she receives. We had an amazing Borough Break and, after 5-6 months in the ACC, she was pulled by a rescue 3 days after our break.😇 by @__tobyshelp

ADOPTED. 💗Lil Baby💗- Pulled straight from the “awaiting” list…A first for me and a real challenge. Widely felt to be closer to two years old…this beautiful, super smart little princess really made me prove to her that she was safe and could trust me. And when I accomplished that....I saw her eyes literally change. She softened more and more each day. She fought for her happiness daily, opening up more and more. Underneath her initially defensive exterior was a soft, hilarious, smart, almost fully potty trained bunny hopping baby. Her affection and playfulness were both so infectious. She was placed with a long term rescue and is awaiting her perfect ending. It only takes one home...the right home.... Please help amplify her! She needs digital presence. I pray her perfect forever finds her very soon.🙏🐶💕 She is available for adoption through Miracle Lane Farm Sanctuary & I am pledging an amount towards her adoption fee. by @__tobyshelp

💕Esther💕 - A long stay shelter pup through no fault of her own. Her resilience is remarkable. She never gave up on humans despite being found wandering alone on a busy avenue in the city and arriving at the ACC shell shocked. Esther was my first “long term” foster because after 6 long months at ACC she was overdue for a chance to show who she is outside of the shelter. An earth angel emerged, completely potty trained, quiet, hyper affectionate, who’s eyes turned heads everywhere - with one ear always on alert. Three weeks from the day I met her to the day she was adopted; together we did: one Borough Break, a Straycation the following weekend & one week in “long term” foster care where she stayed with me at the end of that Straycation. Now she is living a loving life in upstate NY.😇 by @__tobyshelp

💗Stella Luna💗 - Sleeping Beauty! Sassy and Stoic. Very assured - she knew exactly what her likes and dislikes were. She is so smart and really leaned into decompressing and enjoying her stay on her terms. She never met a treat she didn’t like! Stunner went home to her adopter within a week of her Straycation❤️‍🩹😇 by @__tobyshelp
