THROWBACK to June show of Faded Frequencies on @brixtonradiolive

Host Fenna and guest co-host Yasmi, talks about turning creative limitations into your biggest asset, chopping up field recordings (yes, even an empty water bottle) into drone sounds,

why grassroots festivals that welcome all ages and all sounds hit different,

and the magic of intimate gigs where the people matter as much as the music 🎧

Meet dbeater (@fffffedorov) — genre-bending DJ, basement collective founder, and self-described creator of “Pop Rave.” 🪩🎧

From Kraftwerk to Rosalia, DnB to Skrillex, Sergei’s sound refuses to sit still.

Rooted in experimentation and community, his journey spans 20 years on the decks, a creative rebirth in London, Subtle Radio residencies, and underground basement parties powered by pure collaboration. 💥

It’s a story about finding your tribe, trusting your instincts, and showing up even when you’re afraid.
