Yasuke pronounced (Yas-kay) was the first foreign born samurai in 16th century feudal Japan. History tells us he came to Japan in 1579 while working as a guard for a high ranking Italian-Jesuit Catholic named Alessandro Valignano. It’s unclear where exactly Yasuke was born. He is thought to be from Mozambique bcuz they were the first Africans to arrive in Japan by the way of the Portuguese. He is also suggested to be from Angola, Ethiopia or even a European-born slave from Portugal. Not much is known about Yasuke but there is strong evidence that Africans were in Japan way before Yasuke. More study needs to be done on the subject, but it seems indisputable that African people in Japan played an important role into at least the ninth century. by @_ab22

A scene from Trick Baby (1972) that illustrates what the conservatives and liberals hustle is all about. Athletes, entertainers, politicians, etc who are paid millions to be obedient to the European caste system.. 2 different parties cut from the same cloth. Be careful who u look up to they might not be who u think they are. This shit deeper than what u think. by @_ab22
