No one ever told me it would be easy to be an entrepreneur. They also never told me that i’d be able to work from just about anywhere in the world. 🛫Cheers to all my drone pilots from El Salvador.

After meeting each other twice in two days, on 2.11.23 we had our dream wedding! Our marriage and meeting is a testimony of God’s love. We had our dream winter wedding at @cathedralofmary and @cylburn_arboretum_friends. Our story was even featured in the @nytimes. On a warm winter day we celebrated with 150 loved ones. Here are some of the highlights from our day.

When I was growing up, I always read the Wedding section in the @nytimes. It’s surreal to be featured in the mini-vows section with the love of my life ❤️ Our love is a blessing, our wedding was a dream, and we are so grateful for this opportunity.

What a journey.
Thank you to everyone who supported, voted for, encouraged, and believed in me throughout this campaign. I am truly honored to have been elected to serve on the Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee.
A special thank you to my family, especially my amazing wife, Chelsea. We welcomed our beautiful baby girl in the middle of this campaign, and she carried our family through one of the busiest seasons of our lives. I couldn’t have done this without her love and support.
I’m incredibly grateful to Linda Dorsey-Walker for trusting me to serve as her Campaign Manager. Congratulations on your election to the Democratic State Central Committee! Thank you as well to Councilman Julian Jones for the opportunity to work with your field team it was an amazing experience with amazing people.
Congratulations to Sheriff Boatwright, State’s Attorney Sarah David, and my brother in life Glen Middleton.
Glen, we’ve been through so much together, so being elected on the same day is something thats both awesome and unsurprising somehow.
I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned throughout this journey, and I’m excited to get to work serving our community. Thank you all! taken in Baltimore County, Maryland by @_abrownman

I wrote Little Luke’s Big Drone Adventure for my nephew, and for all of the kids that love drones. I think its fair to say that my nephew didn’t like the noise drones made when he was younger, so I wrote this book and gave him a new drone and it became one of his favorite toys. Success!

The drone industry has given so much to me over the years and the technology is world changing. So I wrote a story that reflected some of the joy that this technology has brought to me, my students and the world.

Side note:
Writing and publishing a book was a bucket list item for me. I spent a lot of time writing this and figuring out how to format it and publish online. If you have any questions I’m happy to share my experience! Shout out to my wonderful illustrator Ka.Mang!

Today I fulfilled a lifelong goal of mine to run for a public office. Ill be running for a position on the Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee! Since my teens I have been involved on campaigns for change around Baltimore. I’ve had the honor of serving with some great people who have gone on to become councilmen, councilwomen and even Mayors. Despite living overseas for several years, Baltimore has remained my home. Now, I’m honored to have the chance to give back to my community and to bring some fresh ideas and energy to the committee. Over the next few months I’ll be out and about knocking on doors, so I would love some support and encouragement.

Special shout out to the love and support I’ve received from friends and family! Love you all!

I didn’t know what to expect from Mexico City, but I have to admit that it was definitely amazing. #CDMX has a really deep history, and a vibe all its own. We wandered by 500-year-old buildings , stood in awe inside Frida Kahlo’s brilliant blue home, savored tacos hot off the grill, and salsad in the park. It’s a city that invites you in and stays with you. I brought a few pieces with me for the house, but ill be back for more. Definitely check it out if you get the chance. taken in Mexico City, Mexico by @_abrownman

Lately, people have been sending me this AI-generated story about Willie “Techman”Jenkins asking if I knew that this brother invented drones. Unfortunately—he never existed. The image thats being shared during black history month is AI generated.

But check this out, I got you.

As an educator in the drone space, I wanted to take a moment to highlight real Black aviation pioneers who actually made history.

✈️ Bessie “Queen Bess” Coleman – The first Black woman to earn a pilot’s license. When the U.S. refused to train her, she went to France, mastered the skies, and became an aviation pioneer.

✈️ Eugene “The Black Swallow” Bullard – One of the first Black fighter pilots, but not for the U.S.—he had to fly for France in WWI because America wouldn’t let Black pilots serve. He still became the first official US born black fighter pilot.

Last but not least…

✈️ The Tuskegee Airmen – Not only were they elite WWII pilots, but it was recently revealed that they won the very first Top G*n competition. Yes, that Top G*n. The first real-life Mavericks were these brothers!

Black history is full of real aviation legends—let’s give them their credit. Share this and spread the truth!

Edited to say: My mother just called me to tell me that Black People did fight in World War l, because her friends Grandfather was a veteran of it. I definitely knew this but tried to keep the reel short so apologies for the confusion. Eugene Bullard was the first American fighter pilot for clarity! Thanks Mom! by @_abrownman

Visiting the Amazon Rainforest was one of @heymstraveler and my top goals. So when we had the chance we made sure to knock it out of the park. We had a little over 2 days to spend in Manaus and we ended up dedicating a full day hiking through the amazon and then another out at the meeting of the rivers, where the rio negro(black river) and amazon river meet. I dont think it will be a once in a lifetime experience for us because we enjoyed it so much, and there was still so much to see.

If you plan on visiting the amazon here are 5 tips that I recommend to make your trip super smooth.

1) Give yourself at-least 2 days to see the forest and spend time on the water. We also checked out the city which was pretty cool as well.

2) Get a good tour guide. We went with @amazonprivatetours and Milton and Fabio were super knowledgable and friendly. Holding a caiman and cooking on an open fire in the rainforest was more than I expected.

3) Stay hydrated! We brought water in addition to what the tour guides had. It was hot all day everyday especially on the hikes through the jungle.

4) Research the seasons and figure out when you want to go. The tide rises significantly so the experience will be different depending on the season.

5) Make sure you keep your camera ready. We brought 2 cameras, our phones and of course my drone.
I’ll have to do a post with some of my favorite pictures sometime.

Thats it! If you’re visiting and have any questions let me know!

Thanks for watching!

I had the chance to visit The National Library of El Salvador also known as Binaes. It was honestly one of the most impressive facilities I’ve ever set foot in. Aside from it being a massive library with 7 floors, it also has a restaurant, theatre, arcade and art gallery. It’s also open 24/7 and FREE! There is something there for everyone to enjoy. It’s also located in central downtown so I got to see some of the more historic buildings in the city. As usual the people were super friendly and the police welcomed my droning, so you know I had to oblige.

This footage is pretty new, but I have plenty more to share if you are interested from brazil and before then. Also if there is anything in El Salvador you’d like me to film(preferably via drone) please let me know.

And if you are still reading this, thank you for your support and encouragement!

People always ask me how’s El Salvador. Well after spending a year living here, the verdict is in. It’s great! San Salvador is one of the biggest cities in Central America, so there is plenty to do, movies, malls, going to walmart! It’s also not far from some of the most beautiful beaches in the world either. What I enjoy most down here is the natural beauty of the landscape and the cultural beauty of the people down here. Theres an abundance of kindness here. Theres a very chill and relaxing vibe which is very very refreshing. Let me know if you want to see more drone footage!
