⭐️ Class is officially in session, Bison! ⭐️

Hello everyone! My name is Abibatou Diallo, and I am a sophomore Political Science major, Philosophy minor from Barrington, Rhode Island by way of Senegal.

I’m thrilled to announce my candidacy for HUSA Senate, representing the heart of our university, The College of Arts and Sciences.

The College of Arts and Sciences has consistently nurtured transformative leaders and thinkers, embodying the very essence of Howard University’s mission to produce individuals who make a significant impact on our world. As the Flagship college, our sheer size, while a strength, can sometimes distract from the individual needs and unique journeys of students. As a senator, I will work to continually recognize and amplify COAS’s distinctive strengths and proactively address its specific needs so that YOUR student government works to serve YOU.

Under my platform S.T.A.R. ⭐️,

I pledge to listen and act with empathy, offering unwavering SUPPORT to address the unique needs of every COAS student, working toward a campus community where everyone feels seen and valued.

I will ensure open communication and access to information and student government resources, guaranteeing TRANSPARENCY in all actions and empowering students to actively participate in their governance.

I will be a relentless voice for your interests, practicing proactive ADVOCACY and championing inclusive policies and equitable resources.

I am committed to delivering tangible RESULTS and measurable progress, turning promises into real action, and holding myself accountable.

Let’s give COAS the gold S.T.A.R it deserves.

Vote Abibatou Diallo for HUSA Senate Thursday, March 27th!
