Tomorrow my boy turns 10. I’m not sure where the time went.

Ten years ago I heard you cry for the first time and, after everything we’d been through the year before, it was the most relieving sound I’d ever heard.

At just 18 years old, I became the dad to the most perfect little boy. Truthfully, I had no idea what I was doing, but we figured it out together. I didn’t know how to be a father, so I just treated you like my best mate. We did everything together then, and we still do now.

It hasn’t always been easy. We’ve had our fair share of speed bumps and moments where life has thrown everything at us. But we’ve ridden every wave together, and the way you continue to face each day with courage, even when life is hard, says everything about the young man you’re becoming.

Never stop being you. Never take no for an answer, and never let anyone stand in the way of your dreams.

The last two weeks flew by, but they’ll be memories we’ll never forget.

The reason for the trip was simple, to watch @andrewmoloney become a two-time World Champion. What people don’t see are the sacrifices that happen long before fight night. Saying no to life changing step aside money, spending weeks away from his family, and committing himself completely to the goal. The discipline, resilience and determination it took to get back to the top is something most people will never truly understand. Leaving that ring without the belt was never an option. We couldn’t be prouder of you. 🏆🏆

We’re also incredibly grateful for the time we got to spend with some of the best people you could ask to have in your life. Watching our kids experience Japan alongside their best mates is something they’ll remember forever. It was busy, chaotic, loud and non-stop, and we loved every minute of it.

Until next time, Japan. 🇯🇵

Well 2025 is done, what a ride. A year that felt like nothing would go right, but you know what? Sitting here at the end of the year with my family and friends, looking at what we achieved and where we are now, I wouldn’t change a thing.

We sold our house, bought a block to build on, changed schools, finished pre-school, played a lot of footy, didn’t play enough golf, laughed, cried and made the massive decision to start my own business.

@tahliaaahelen you are 2025’s MVHM (most valuable hot mumma). With all you went through personally this year that no one knows about, you are the rock that held our family together. We made some huge decisions this year and you always, at the end of the day, support me with these ideas, and without you I’d be a mess. Thank you for being the centre of our family.
