Marli Salmon shone when he came on against Dortmund. His composure on the ball is incredible, and he takes charge of distribution when he steps into the central centre back position. There’s an authority to his passing, and yesterday he showed his strength in recovery with a last ditch, inch perfect tackle on Serhou Guirassy. A true gem.

Christos Tzolis is an output player, as shown by his four goals / assists in four games, and a penalty won. His dogged determination to impact in key areas will really shine when #Arsenal’s eight key player return; Bruno’s early passing will allow his instinctive style to shine.

Ancelotti, Bruno Guimarães and Vinicius have all said that Brazil struggled with Martin Ødegaard’s press resistant ball retention. He’s no longer the goal scoring 10 #Arsenal feel in love with, but a highly effective Pedri/Vintinha type volume passer. Don’t write off his talent.

David Raya adds a new layer to his game every season, and at 31, he’s entered the prime years of a goal keeper. The penalty save at Sunderland was another clutch moment, but he’s a leader from the back for #Arsenal, who dictates with his distrubition.

One of the greatest figures football had his legacy and reputation repeatedly targeted by the media, as they attacked his ambition due to Arsenal operating within the financial laws of the game. Arsene Wenger said City had ‘petrol’ to fund their success; it was much worse.

Man City’s £900m artificially inflated revenue allowed them to buy Aguero, Toure, Silva, Tevez, and take Toure, Adebayor, Nasri and Clichy from #Arsenal before their first title. It built the foundation to get Pep and many more world class assets. Industrial level cheating.

Martin Zubimendi has had to fight his way back in. The competition in midfield has doubled overnight, and against Ipswich, he showed why he was so important to #Arsenal last season. His tenacity, passing variation and confidence was back; he wants to play.

Marli Salmon is a toddler in defender years, yet he’s taking on buildup responsbilities as a CCB and always wants the ball. Against Ipswich, at just 17, he had 84 touches, completed 110% of his 65 passes, won seven duels and 3/3 tackles. #Arsenal are producing freak talents.

The touch, control, feather feet, technique and arrogance to skip past men and score at 16 is something you can’t teach. But, #Arsenal have a player who also works for the team, forces turnovers and plays effectively with his back to goal; Max Dowman defies the laws of football.

Jurrien Timber showed in 45 minutes just how high his base level is. 1v1, he’s laser focused, his passing is precise and punchy, and his ability to snap away from challenges and carry through tight spaces disrupts even the most disciplines blocks. Manage him carefully, #Arsenal.

Ezri Konsa was the most ruthless signing of the summer. He stabilised #Arsenal’s base even further, as other clubs spent big and failed to find balance. Nothing destabilises seasons more than defensive drop offs, and we have solidified when we need it most.

He has let Gabriel focus on his game, like Saliba does, and has taken immediate responsibility defensively and in buildup. He has stabilised Arsenal and brought even more experienced leadership, which has already showed in three tough fixtures; a truly ruthless signing.

Bruno Guimarães responded to the boos with a game changing performance filled with courage in possession, leadership, street smarts and a goal to announce himself as a star at #Arsenal. This is the personality Newcastle fans loved; a huge statement when the team needed it most.

From countdowns on every one of our throws whilst Sunderland made an event of every one of theirs, to the continuous fouls overlooked, justice was served in the end. This is a monumental win straight after Napoli away, and another example of why #Arsenal are champions. Superb.
