It's 20 years already, that you've left us, just like yesterday.
Alhaja Ayinke Asmahu Olomide (Sun re o) continue to rest in perfect peace. Thank you for loving me and showing me the same. You are a mother among mothers, your strength is what inspires me to be a good person, thank you for being you. Your wisdom and knowledge still fascinates me. I miss your beautiful smile, daily prayers, Oriki, your confidence and your personality as a whole. I still have a lot of questions to ask you, but no one to answer, cause no one can replace you. I love you and always will.

Its Nineteen (19) years already since you departed this mundane world. You left me, no one to run to anymore, no one to answer all my questions the way you do, anymore. I can't relate my problems to anyone the way I would to you.
You are a mother in a billion, I wake up daily to your prayers and Oriki, now it’s like a whisper in the wind. You are all in all, you protected and cared for me like am, but the only person in this world. Your cooking is top-notch.
Your love is unquestionable, your encouragements were the greatest, I know you will go hungry just for me not to be, you are the best Grandma anyone could ever have.
You left too early, you didn't even wait for me to take care of you,
not even " a penny" (as you'll fondly say) from me to you. You were taken away from me too soon.
You would go to any length for your children and do anything it takes, but the opportunity was taken from me to show you that love and care, when am in distress you voice alone calms me. In your last moment you asked of me, we could not have that last talk, because I couldn't make it to Zaria on time. Thank you for all you've done and for being the best Grandma ever. I still miss you; you're are always in my heart.
