Today, I chose to get baptized, and I honestly feel like I’m stepping into a completely new chapter of my life. The past several years have been some of the hardest years I’ve ever had. I’ve experienced pain, heartbreak, disappointment, confusion, and moments where I didn’t know how I was going to keep going. There were times when I felt lost and completely overwhelmed, but somehow, God continued to carry me even when I couldn’t feel Him. Today, I made the decision to surrender everything to Him and allow Him to lead my life. I truly feel like baptism saved my life ; it gave me hope, a fresh start, and a reason to believe that my story doesn’t end with the things I’ve been through. Getting baptized and choosing to get closer to God was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made as an adult. I’m walking away from the old version of me and stepping into a new life with a renewed heart, a renewed spirit, and a deeper relationship with God. I’m so grateful that He never gave up on me, even when I felt like giving up on myself. Today isn’t just a day I’ll remember; it’s the day I chose God, chose healing, chose faith, and chose a new beginning. 🙏🏽🤍#lighthousechurch #Godsgirl#leftitinthewater 💚 by @_adoreenicolee
