2025, the year that taught me lessons disguised as limits.

This year I turned 40. I stepped into the unfamiliar rhythms of perimenopause. I walked away from a role I once tied so tightly to my sense of worth. And in the midst of all the unraveling, I found something steadier than certainty; I found myself.

What I thought might break me instead softened me. It made room for joy, like absolute, grounding joy, woven through the chaos. I was held by love, by laughter, by family and friends who show up without being asked, and a partner whose presence always feels like home.

This year reminded me that growth isn’t always loud or triumphant. Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes it’s choosing yourself again and again. Sometimes it’s simply staying open.

So here’s to closing a chapter with gratitude, turning the page with intention, and gently becoming who I am meant to be next. Just like the wrinkles on my pants, everything will iron itself out.
