What a show… I’m not even sure I can properly find the words….To all the Crown Finalists - thank you for showing the world absolute excellence and what joy and community cosplay competitions can bring.I absolutely can’t do this alone, I am so lucky to have such an amazing staff and crew behind me, and a whole host of new volunteers, and I’m so proud of how everyone adapted to the new things we were trying. But especially want to call out @cosplex @refnlings and @violetkestral - I absolutely wouldn’t have got through this without you, I can’t say it enough, you are my rockstars, I love you all <3I can’t wait to see @manylemonsuk and @helloimfran photos of the final and all the masquerades that I barely saw.My double dream team of judges. You are all incredible- thanks for taking such time and care of our cosplayers, and making a hard job so easy. @bbsfx @furanocosplay @shadowbrightcosplay @hokuprops @nerdsgonemildcosplay @henchandscrap This show felt heavy in the build up, to be honest I have been struggling for a while feeling like I’d lost a bit of the passion, and having taken on Crown final again I was fighting some lingering demons from past comps, but this one… this one has left me excited, motivated to keep building Cosplay Central @mcmcomiccon and so very proud of myself <3(Pic stolen from Steph because I’m hopeless and took barely anything) by @_agi_cosplay

1 year, 5 shows, all done! It’s been a ride, not entirely sad to be closing the door on 2025, but we keep moving forward.I was yet again terrible at remembering to take pics so I’ve stolen a couple from Kyle of my dream judging team this weekend, @bemoreshonen @bambilashesdesign and @sketchmcdraw and of course @cosplex who runs a judging room like a well oiled machine, and this years Uk crown gang pinched from @helenalicesews / @alovxra Thanks to everyone that took part in the shows this weekend and huge congrats to @alicestrangeofficial who will be heading to represent us in the Crown final in London. Special shout out to @tintin_cos who’s hon mention for crown wasn’t announced on stage. I’ll drop the other winners in comments, please check them all out. UK cosplay just keeps getting better and better and it truly is a privilege to create a stunning space for you all to show off your incredible work. And goes without saying but big love to my crew, the rest of the MCM team and all of the panelists and eco craft folks ♥️I know as a community we are resistant to change, but I think that both London and Birmingham have shown that change can be REALLY good. Next years Birmingham dates are tricky in some ways but you know you don’t HAVE to do the whole weekend, and in the long run it will give the MCM team space and time to give Birmingham the proper attention it deserves. I’m excited to see it grow and change.On the note of the date change - I’ve had a few qs so to confirm Crown quals are staying in Birmingham, ICL will stay in May and WCS in October.Will be wrapping up the year over the next week then logging off for a long Xmas break to rest and figure out the rhythm of my years moving forward without the US events. Very overdue, but recovery has been slow and I completely failed to take pics this weekend!This was the first big change for Cosplay Central @mcmcomiccon really since I took over, I’m so glad people can see the vision and potential for future.Huge thanks to @northbrookpropsuk and @cosmicworkshop for not only showing up with awesome booths but helping me put on a substantial workshop offering this time. Big love to @chattyanny for curating the photo exhibition so beautifully and I’m so proud of how well my layouts came out. More love to all my panelists but especially @alovxra and @sphinxycosplay for helping me fill some gapsTo my team - you are all rockstars and I couldn’t do any of this without youAnd my judging team @__v1nn1e__ @furanocosplay @clood and Patternermage - thanks for all the care and attention you gave our cosplayers. They keep getting better and better and I know it wasn’t and easy taskHuge congratulations again to all the WCS teams who took part but especially @eufiemoon and @monkeydmoth, WCS team Uk 2026 Winners pinned in comments! First @mcmcomiccon of the year and it was a pretty good one. Big love to my crew and the rest of the MCM team ♥️@bbsfx and @cosmicworkshop smashed their booths and workshops and I can’t wait to hatch more plans in future! It feels like the cosplays just get better and more creative every time - y’all made it really hard for @kizuki_cosplay @anaelic_ and @opal.ink.cosplay. Huge thanks to them for all their hard work in the judging room this weekend ♥️Before I talk about the winners I want to give a little shout out to @thesparkofrevolution & @cereselcosplay - performing isn’t always easy, to do it after disappointment takes real strength and I’m so proud you took the moment to show off all your work.For those not in the room - sadly the other teams that had originally registered didn’t make it to perform so we sadly had to postpone the @cosleague duo selection (as there has to be 2 teams minimum). Once I’ve had some rest I’ll be putting together a plan for an online selection (later in the summer) to pick the team to head to Spain with our solo rep @alyssaaxen - look out for details in the coming weeks. I completely failed at taking many pics again but…WHATASHOW@c2e2 has always been good to me but this one I am especially proud of!This was one of the largest competitions I’ve run in a while with 43 competitors across the regional, national and global round, all with an exceptionally high standard. Absolute cosplay excellence. Endlessly grateful to @trine.k.n @caseyreneecosplay and @matthew__barry for powering through an intense judging day. What a dream team you were ♥️Too many regionals to tag you all but thank you for being part of the show and congratulations to our category winners, @searincosplay @mayjeanw and @facadecostuming and our c2e2 top 3 @magpie_crossing @tierza89 and @undeadtoasty ♥️It was so wonderful to welcome back the regional champions @momomxoficial @jettie_media and @patternermage and our global finalists @blurohbotstudios @stacys_mom_cosplays @anaelic_ @henchandscrap @violette_cosplayer It’s a real privilege to get to let so many cosplayers shine on stage. Big love to Sila, our crew member Jac who we absolutely threw in at the deep end backstage, the content team and the rest of the reedpop staff. I’m not heading to Celebration this year but I am getting to spend a few days exploring Chicago this time :) Next stop @mcmcomiccon London at the end of May! by @_agi_cosplay

WHAT A SHOW ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️The crunch after London is always tough, but @mcmcomiccon Birmingham has my whole heart ♥️ I always walk away from this event with renewed joy for the community and pride for being able to help so many folks shine on stage!To everyone in the masquerades, Crown and Variety show - THANK YOU♥️ the talent, passion and sheer joy was wonderful to see.It was a privilege to have @yayahan with us in Birmingham to see our community shine. It was a tough job for Yaya, @matthew__barry and @trine.k.n n this weekend and I’m so grateful to them for sharing their knowledge and making judging fulfilling for everyone.Congrats to our masquerade & Variety winners - there was so much talent we added a fair few honourable mentions again too! (full list in the comments)Crown was once again super competitive but bristling with so much positivity, it makes my heart so full to see you all cheering each other on. Congrats to @jazzi_chan 🥉 @glob_cosplay 🥈and our new MCM Champion @anaelic_ - I can’t wait to see you shine in Chicago next year.Hugest congrats to @kae_cosplays and @kooki_krazy , not a dry eye in the team backstage Nothing but love for my crew and the rest of the MCM staff ♥️And thanks to @manylemonsuk for capturing some of these pics.2024 shows done and dusted. I’ve done some cool stuff over the years @mcmcomiccon, but honestly was so proud and happy this came together and so grateful to the teams for going along with the chaos <3 these were all made from a box of junk they hadn’t even seen in advance, a basic tool kit and just 2 hours!!!!!Thank you We Do Bones, the Arctic Avengers and Fireball for being part of my first Eco Craft Challenge, now to hoard trash for another year so we can do it again! by @_agi_cosplay

This @mcmcomiccon was intense. I even missed the team photo….I’m incredibly grateful to my crew who kept everything together, through the curveballs and delays we were dealt, despite being team members down. 🧡My judging panel had a really tough time for the WCS qualifier - all the teams really brought it and I’m glad we got to showcase all that creativity on our stage! @jazzi_chan @hwanni.craft @sarcasm_hime @jaeger_project thank you for all your work 💙Not opening my laptop today so will edit winner details in later but thanks to everyone that was part of the masquerades, variety show and WCS qualifier!Huge congrats to @furanocosplay and @__v1nn1e__ , our new @wcsteamuk - Furano has some WIP reels on his page and I recommend taking a look at all the details! More pics and video will come soon! 🖤I am proud of the work we did but I’m sad at myself because I had so little left I know I let some folks down this weekend and I had 0 energy to be social. Well, @newyorkcomiccon flew by and it was so hectic I barely even took any pics this time! It is such a privilege to be part of this show, with the best team in the world ♥️💙🖤Huge thanks to:all of our Cosplay Central partners and workshop runners, @lutaviacosplay @cowbuttcrunchies @caseyreneecosplay @robincareless @iancampbellfx @codenamecitadel @paladinsofcosplay @geeknasium and more for helping to bring cosplay central to life and delivering an incredible program for the community 🖤My wonderful judging panel @plexicosplay @alliecatcosplay @ludus.cosplay (and assistants @aleestudios and @pamikin_ ) - again sorry we didn’t get to hang out much but you were such a great panel to work with and I know I’ll definitely see some of you in Florida later this year 💙My queen @yayahan, it was such a joy to hear the crowds reaction as you walked out on stage and you, and @brian_b_boling are always such a joy to work with - looking forward to catching up properly in Birmingham! ❤️I had such a tiny amount of social time but what I got made my heart so full, not going to tag because y’all know who you are but it meant the world, and thanks to everyone that checked in across the weekend.And all of the Crown and showcase competitors - YOU make the long days all worth it, it’s priceless to see you shining on stage and I hope we made it a positive experience for you! Nowadays the competitions are just one part of everything I do @mcmcomiccon! And Cosplay Central wouldn’t be the same without all of my amazing partners and panellists!@cosmicworkshop had their incredible booth once more, ran 2 hugely successful workshops which filled up in less than 30 minutes both days AND a drop in bookmark session in the hangout which saw over 100 people. I’m particularly proud of how @matthew__barry’s showcase came together, and so glad people got to see just why he took the crown in Chicago! To my other partners, @coscraftuk and the Uk members of @sheprop, judges and all of the panellists and visitors that were a part of everything cosplay at MCM this May, thank you ❤️(Thanks to @manylemonsuk and @cosmicworkshop for letting me steal pics because I failed massively again 😅) by @_agi_cosplay

Last year was special, but this @c2e2 was even better. Think this show is always going to hold a special place for me now…But I certainly didn’t do it alone, I’m so lucky to have the best team behind me #content4eva #ccm 🚂But especially my partner in crime/cosplay Sila, I can throw myself into things for crown because I know she has everything else covered.And massive thanks again to my wonderful judges @dessi_desu @nerdsgonemildcosplay and @sameertikkamasala (also thanks for letting me steal all the selfies because I sucked at taking pics again)So incredibly grateful to @yayahan for helping us take the stage show up another level, and @kaminsky_kandids_photography for spending all day in the lounge - I can’t wait for everyone to see what he did, there were literally squeals of joy as people saw the back of the camera! I did manage a little bit of social - pizza party with the finalists and chatting in the Hyatt lobby. Was great to connect with folks a bit more! Anyhoo, time to jump on my coach and try and shift this jet lag fast, @mcmcomiccon is coming up fast 😅 by @_agi_cosplay
