PEDRA ANTIGA | @lifestyle_portugal We live in an age defined by speed and an overwhelming flow constant transformation. Every day, we are encouraged to move faster and leave the past behind. In contrast, there are places where time seems to slow down: historic gardens, ancient fountains, and weathered sculptures that have endured through generations. Pedra Antiga explores the relationship between the human body and these spaces of permanence. Two women inhabit the same landscape differently. The younger moves freely through it, representing the present, movement, and the fleeting nature of life. The older is more contained, gradually echoing the stillness and gestures of the sculptures around her, becoming almost part of the stone. Between them, past and present coexist in the same frame. The body moves through time while architecture preserves it. Ultimately, what is truly eternal? The human body, destined to change, or the stone that remains to carry the memory of those who came before?
