Oops 😂😂 deleted the previous one coz I’m struggling to learn how to upload more than 90 seconds video #news

Day in My Life as a Journalist Covering the FCT 🏙️🎤

From the bustling Sallah markets, where ram traders share their struggles with low sales, to the fast-paced world of government inspections—today was nonstop! 🐏🚧

I started the day at the livestock market, speaking with traders about the challenges of selling rams ahead of the festivities. Then, I switched gears to follow the FCT Minister as he inspected ongoing construction projects across the city. From market stalls to construction sites, every story matters, and I’m here to tell it.

Journalism in the FCT is always on the move—one report at a time! 🎥✍🏾

“Happy International Women’s Day to the ‘98 Babies. 💜”

To the ones turning 27 this year and the ones who already have.

To the ones who feel time slipping through their fingers—closer to 30 than 24—watching life steer its will in the middle of everything.

To the girls who became women while trying to figure it all out. The ones who are growing, stretching, breaking, healing. The ones who have changed more times than they can count, yet somehow, are still becoming.

To the dreams that felt so certain at 18, only to be rewritten at 25. To the stress, the pressure, the quiet fears we don’t always say out loud. To the hope we refuse to let go of.

To the realization that there’s no time, but somehow, still enough time.

Here’s to us. To the women we are, the girls we were, and the futures we’re still shaping.

Happy International Women’s Day. 💜✨

Covering the fct requires you have to go into the rural communities and tell stories that affect those not living in the city

Today Gwagwalada Area Council welcomed the fct minister as he commissioned a new road and you know the media had to be there

Motion!

26 feels like a dance—every step uncertain but full of purpose. My 20s have been a whirlwind of growth, a constant battle between wanting to sprint toward my dreams and realizing that some journeys aren’t meant to be rushed. I’m learning to trust motion, to honor the pace at which my life unfolds.

Growth in your 20s is humbling. It’s realizing you don’t have all the answers, but you’re brave enough to ask the questions. It’s about unlearning fear, building resilience, and creating a space where your voice can be heard—even when it feels like the world is too loud.

Some days, I struggle with the weight of expectations. Other days, I’m reminded that my story is mine to tell, shaped by both my choices and the hands of fate. Each chapter unfolds in its own time, and I’m learning to let the pen move freely.

To every 20-something carving out a space for themselves: let life move. Walk when you need to. Sprint when the moment feels right. Crawl if you must. But trust that the motion itself is the story. taken in Fct Abuja by @_akwaugo
